Of the Star Alliance's nine Star Palaces, only Taihao Star Palace was located at its center, in the original Taihao Star Domain. The other eight Star Palaces all stood along the Star Alliance's northern frontier.
Those eight Star Palaces' primary purpose was to guard the Star Alliance's borders. Taihao Star Palace alone had always stood in the heart of the Star Alliance, within Taihao Star Domain.
