Touring the Starport

Outside the Mu Yun Star system, the Starport was anchored in the void. A vast portal opened in its starlit protective barrier, allowing starships to pass in and out.

Liang Ji stood aboard the Dragon Snake, watching as the starship slowly passed through the portal and entered the Starport. Guided by the Starport's Artifact Spirit, it then sailed into a maintenance dock.

The Dragon Snake had suffered considerable damage while withstanding the shockwaves earlier. Many of its protective formations and magic treasures had been destroyed or damaged. Though it could still travel through the void, both its speed and its defensive strength had declined significantly.

Liang Ji had already been worrying about repairs. So when he heard the Starport would be stopping here for a while for maintenance, he applied to Lieutenant Liu Yuanling to have the Dragon Snake brought into the Starport for repairs.

After all, the Starport was essentially a void carrier and a landmass in the void—a harbor where all kinds of starships and starvessels could dock. Naturally, it had a complete supply network and system for maintaining and repairing them.

Its resources and systems were far superior to the repair supplies and facilities carried aboard the Dragon Snake.

When Lieutenant Liu Yuanling received the application, he approved it without much hesitation. As a Starport belonging to the Star Alliance's Expansion Army, it was already tasked with rescuing exploration teams in the Outer Domain Star Sea and repairing their starships.

Once the Dragon Snake had safely entered the maintenance dock, Liang Ji and Peng Yue each opened a Star Gate, summoning artifact crafters, rune masters, formation masters, and others from their Natal Stars.
