The tranquil Star River was like the dreamscape of mortals—natural and beautiful, so captivating that one could not help but become immersed in it. At the center of this starry sky stood a majestic and resplendent complex of palaces, countless halls rising and falling across the void.
Inside the grandest main hall of the palace complex, golden flames burned beside each of twelve enormous pillars. At the heart of each flame seemed to be a miniature star slowly rotating.
Upon the throne sat a figure clad in mottled black and green scale armor. A curved green horn rose from his head, and his gentle eyes were like emerald jade. He sat quietly, waiting.
"Zushu, it's been many years. What brings you to me?" A voice filled with endless majesty suddenly rang through the palace.
Then Mountain Lord Yangu appeared in the hall, looking like a red Savage and clad in blue battle armor.
Venerable Zushu!
Though his title identified him as a Venerable, this name alone was enough to make countless enemy forces of the Human Race tremble in fear throughout the universe.
The Human Race had many Venerables who had reached the level of Universe Overlord, but humans were inherently Ordinary Life, with relatively low Gene Levels and generally small Divine Bodies. Thus, most Universe Overlords were merely at an ordinary level.
