Compared to Jigen and Sasuke, his earlier scuffles had been nothing but child's play.

Sasuke had already grown familiar with some of Jigen's abilities.

He knew Jigen's Dojutsu could enlarge or shrink any inanimate object, and even shrink ninjutsu.

His Karma, meanwhile, could absorb any ninjutsu, making him almost immune to all ninjutsu attacks.

So,

Sasuke didn't use many ninjutsu attacks either. Instead, he relied mostly on the Body Flicker Technique, taijutsu, swordsmanship, and the Shadow Clone Technique to keep Jigen occupied.

At the same time, he deliberately sent several enormous Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu attacks wide, letting them soar into the sky to prepare for the Lightning Style Kirin he would unleash later.

Natural lightning wasn't Chakra, so it shouldn't be something Jigen could absorb.

Sometimes, Sasuke couldn't help admiring all the ninjutsu invented by Second Hokage Tobirama.
