Background

Naruto is Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki’s son. Though he grows into Konohagakure’s Seventh Hokage, he still longs for the parents he lost; Natsu Yuu’s food, made from portions prepared by them while alive, leaves him hoping to meet them in person someday. By this point, Naruto has become more restrained than in his youth and avoids overstepping the boundaries of those he seeks help from. 672

As Hokage, Naruto remains committed to protecting people without initiating war against uninvolved villages. When Natsu Yuu offers him the chance to unify the Ninja World, Naruto refuses because he believes forced unification would bring unavoidable mass casualties. Natsu exploits this conviction by forcing Naruto to choose between his loved ones and the wider world. 674

Personality

Naruto is compassionate, stubborn, and intensely loyal. He objects when Danzō orders the execution of defeated captives, and his devotion to Sasuke repeatedly outweighs his own safety and political convenience. 527 535

Five Kage Summit

Naruto accompanies acting Hokage Danzō to the summit as part of Team 7’s escort. He defeats most of an ambushing force but openly condemns Danzō’s execution of helpless prisoners. Danzō then manipulates Naruto’s loyalty to Sasuke, offering a possible pardon in exchange for Naruto’s protection. 527

When Sasuke attacks the summit, Naruto enters Sage Mode to stop him from reaching Danzō. He realizes that Sasuke cannot be persuaded out of revenge and resolves to defeat him himself before the Five Kage kill him. 531

Naruto continues trying to protect Sasuke even after Sasuke rejects his help. Kakashi repeatedly restrains him because intervening against the Raikage, Gaara, and Mei could make Konoha appear to be starting a war. 535 537

Defense of Konoha and Bond with Kurama

During Kabuto’s assault, Naruto faces Kabuto alone to defend Konoha. Kurama breaks Kabuto’s genjutsu, allowing Naruto to retaliate with Sage Art: Wind Style: Rasenshuriken. 594

Jigen’s Assault and Imprisonment

In Ninja World 7, Naruto and Sasuke fight Jigen in a pocket dimension but are overwhelmed by his strength and Black Rods. Naruto creates an opening for Sasuke to escape, then allows himself to be sealed in the Sealing Cauldron rather than let Jigen kill Sasuke. 670

While imprisoned, Naruto refuses Natsu Yuu’s offer to unify the Ninja World through force. After Sasuke devastates rival powers to fulfill Natsu’s conditions, Naruto is released roughly a week later and learns that the world has collapsed around him. 674 748

Battle for Kawaki and the Fall of Isshiki

Naruto rescues Kawaki from Isshiki with Six Paths power, but recognizes that Isshiki will exploit any hesitation over hostages. He prepares a lethal Super Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken, forcing Isshiki to throw Kawaki away and flee. Naruto catches Kawaki instead of pursuing the attack, then restores his strength with Yang Release Chakra. 751 752

After returning to a destroyed Konoha and believing everyone he loved to be dead, Naruto takes Sasuke’s Rinnegan and Ada’s Omniscient Eye. Resurrection of Konoha

Natsu Yuu uses Kaguya to perform the Reanimation Jutsu, resurrecting hundreds of thousands of Konoha victims, including Sasuke, Hinata, Kakashi, Sakura, Sarada, and Toneri. Naruto helps calm the revived civilians through a shadow clone. 767
