A Critical Hit from Mom

Over at Konoha Hospital.

After saying goodbye to Sasuke, Hinata hurried to the hospital with her daughter Himawari in her arms.

There, she saw Boruto and Sarada unconscious.

Sarada's injuries weren't too serious, and she hadn't overexerted herself mentally. After receiving treatment at the hospital, she woke up before the others.

As soon as she came to, Sarada saw Hinata and Himawari visiting her, as well as her mother, Sakura, asleep in the bed to her right.

"Aunt Hinata? Where am I? What about Mom?"

Hinata gently stroked Sarada's head, trying to reassure her.

"It's all right. You're in the hospital, and you're all back home. As for your mom, she's just a little tired and fell asleep. She's fine..."

Sarada breathed a sigh of relief. Her memories ended with the Ten-Tails' young attacking her and knocking her unconscious in the alternate dimension, so she had no idea what happened afterward.

But now that she was back in Konoha and surrounded by familiar faces, Sarada naturally felt much more at ease.

"What about Boruto? What happened to him? Is he okay?"

Sarada immediately asked about Boruto, clearly very worried about him.

"Boruto's out of danger. He's resting in the room next door. Mitsuki and Sumire are taking care of him, so don't worry."

Hinata smiled.

Having been in unrequited love for so long herself, she had long sensed Sarada's budding feelings for Boruto, but she hadn't said anything.

She wouldn't meddle in something between kids.

But if Sarada and Boruto really did end up together, Hinata would wholeheartedly approve.

If the Uzumaki and Uchiha families became relatives through marriage, Naruto would probably be grinning in his sleep. And she wouldn't have to worry about that Uchiha heartbreaker Sasuke seducing Naruto all the time anymore.
