Half a minute later.
The battle was over. Without his reflection-based divine technique, the little brat Dimon had been utterly defeated by Six Paths Clear Sky Pillar.
Sasuke dispersed his Susanoo and had a clone carry Sakura's corpse.
His real body walked toward Dimon alone. The sea of black Amaterasu flames still blazed, but it parted before Sasuke, snuffing itself out to form a path for him.
"Whoosh—!"
Sasuke released the Six Crimson Sun Formation and changed four of the Truth-Seeking Orbs back into Black Rods. They fell from the sky and pierced Dimon's limbs and torso with pinpoint accuracy, locking him firmly in place.
Even though Dimon had already been burned to the brink of death by the Black Flames of Amaterasu, there was no telling whether he still had the strength to fight back. Maybe he was just pretending.
But once he was pinned down by the Truth-Seeking Orbs, even Ōtsutsuki Isshiki would be finished, let alone Dimon.
In any case, Sasuke wasn't about to lower his guard and risk snatching defeat from the jaws of victory at the last moment.
At last.
Sasuke reached Dimon, who was on the verge of death.
He was in even worse shape than before. The carbonized outer layer and dermis had long since been burned away by Amaterasu, leaving vast areas of subcutaneous tissue and raw, bloody flesh exposed. Here and there, glimpses of gray-black bone could still be seen...
He looked as if he'd fallen into a pool of magma, had the skin burned off his whole body, and then been hauled back out, drenched in blood.
If Sasuke hadn't stopped the flames in time, Dimon would have been reduced to ashes within moments.
Honestly.
It was astonishing that Dimon was still alive after all that.
His vitality was incredible.
