You're Boruto's Dad, Aren't You?

Toneri felt as if he had had a very long dream.

In the dream, there was no annoying meddler named Naruto Uzumaki. He had successfully inherited the will of his father and his entire clan, married the princess of the Hyuga Clan, and had two adorable children named Boruto Otsutsuki and Himawari Otsutsuki. Boruto was a little mischievous, but Toneri still loved him dearly. The four of them lived happily together in a new Ninja World, enjoying a blissful family life.

Everything had been so beautiful it seemed like a dream, and Toneri himself had hardly wanted to wake up.

Unfortunately, sweet dreams could never come true.

"Crack—!"

With a crisp sound of shattering, Toneri's sweet dream collapsed, and the Suba Mist that had frozen him in time began to crack and break apart as well...

"Haah—!"

Otsutsuki Toneri jolted awake from the illusory dream of Dragon Palace City, and his memories came flooding back like a tide.

Only then did he suddenly remember.

He had been ambushed by Otsutsuki Urashiki and sealed away inside his Dragon Palace Box. He was still on the moon.

'Where's Urashiki?'

'What's happening in the Ninja World?'

'Is Boruto all right?'

'Who broke the seal?'

Toneri had lost his Tenseigan and had no sight, but that did nothing to hinder his keen senses.

However, he couldn't sense anyone nearby, nor detect the presence of any Chakra.

Then, a voice suddenly rang out.

"Otsutsuki Toneri, haven't you woken up from your sweet dream yet?"

The voice of a certain Sage of the Dao Path made Toneri jolt. Only then did he realize that a figure had appeared beside him without him noticing.

Toneri's scalp prickled, and he immediately went on guard.

"Who are you?!"

"Is that how you treat the person who broke your seal?"
