Jon did not really know what Dumbledore had said to Harry, but he was not particularly curious about it either.

By the time he arrived at the Headmaster's office, Harry had already left.

Dumbledore was an exceptionally skilled actor. His performance was so convincing that Jon felt profound admiration for the way he could summon and dismiss tears at will.

At this point, many things no longer needed to be concealed.

"Still, there was no need to provoke the child's emotions like that. Too much is as bad as too little. I still think it went a bit too far."

Dumbledore shook his head without saying anything.

He had made his meaning clear long ago. Harry's upbringing was something he could never quite put out of his mind.

Now, he would simply do as much as he could.

"Fine, it's not my business anyway," Jon said indifferently. "Now let's talk about something else."

Naturally, they meant the matter of Voldemort, and behind that matter lay another issue that needed to be dealt with.

Namely, the Minister for Magic.

Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge confirmed in a brief statement on Friday night that the man whose name could not be spoken had returned to the country and was once again active.

"I must announce with the deepest regret that the wizard who styles himself the Dark Lord—oh, you all know whom I mean—is alive and active among us once more,"

Fudge said while addressing reporters, looking both exhausted and utterly disheveled.

"Equally regrettably, we must report that the Dementors of Azkaban have staged a large-scale rebellion and have declared that they will no longer work for the Ministry of Magic.

We believe these Dementors are currently serving that dark fiend.
