"What are you trying to do?"
Jon was about to raise his hand when he realized that chains had already wrapped around both his hands and feet.
"Are you planning to put me, an uninvited guest, on trial? But I think you may have miscalculated. I'm not very familiar with your civilization, but if this is a trial, shouldn't I be allowed to defend myself?"
"Mind your words."
A phantom of a god at the edge spoke.
In truth, he was speaking words Jon could not understand at all, but after being filtered through the chains, Jon was able to grasp their meaning.
"The trial has begun. You need only await the result."
What kind of nonsense was this?
They had already begun judging him without even giving him a chance to speak?
But Jon discovered that those chains had firmly locked his power inside his body. He could not move at all.
Helpless.
But since he had chosen this path, all he could do was wait.
