Arc 12The Saints’ Exile and Zhou’s Rise
Lu Yuan attained the Hunyuan Saintly Dao and helped Tongtian resist the Four Saints, but the battle shattered the world and Hongjun remade it while exiling the Saints to Chaos. Zhou overthrew Shang and established its dynasty, while the new order set the stage for conflicts among the sects.
- Tongtian raised the Zhu Xian Sword Formation, and the Four Saints broke it after Lu Yuan absorbed power from one of its gates and attained the Hunyuan Saintly Dao.
- Lu Yuan joined Tongtian at Jiepai Pass, then helped him design the Myriad Immortals Formation to challenge the Yuxu and Western Teachings forces.
- At Tong Pass, Guangchengzi and Saint Mother Guiling died, while the battle between Tongtian, Primordial Heavenly Venerate, and Zhunti shattered the Primordial World.
- Hongjun stopped the fighting, remade the world, and sent Lu Yuan, Tongtian, and the other Saints into Chaos under a decree barring their true bodies from the Three Realms.
- Ji Fa defeated Di Xin at Muye, captured Chaoge, and established the Zhou dynasty as Di Xin burned himself alive and Shen Gongbao fled to preserve Shang’s royal bloodline.
- Jiang Ziya invested the fallen disciples as gods, and the Heavenly Dao bestowed creation that strengthened the surviving sects and the Heavenly Court.
- The exiled Saints created sanctuaries in Chaos, while Randeng and other former Yuxu disciples joined the Western Teachings and Cihang became Guanyin Bodhisattva.
- After Ji Fa died from Human Dao backlash, Guan Xian, Cai Du, and Huo Chu rebelled against Zhou, and Primordial Heavenly Venerate foresaw conflict between the Chan and Human Sects.
