Avery Manor.
Brilliant stars lit up the night sky, their strands of starlight falling upon the estate.
Voldemort stared at the wisp of dazzling golden light curling around his fingertips. The golden orb gleamed like a star in the heavens.
As the golden orb pulsed at his fingertips, Voldemort's expression lost its initial coldness and indifference. The corners of his lips rose, followed by wild, unrestrained laughter.
"The power of the stars... will ultimately be mine, hahahaha..."
Voldemort laughed madly, his scarlet eyes flashing without pause.
At a thought from Voldemort, that wisp of stellar power transformed into all manner of shapes in the air.
Not far in front of Voldemort, McNair, wearing the silver mask of a Death Eater, said excitedly, "Congratulations, Master, on grasping the mysteries of the starry sky! Congratulations, Master, on finding a way to break Rory's Mana Suppression Power!"
Voldemort seemed greatly pleased by McNair's perfectly timed flattery.
He waved the Wand in his hand, continuously drawing in the starlight cast down from the sky around him. He brutally stripped the stellar power from that starlight, then forcibly suppressed it with his own overwhelming magic, making it his to wield.
Unlike Linley, who used the Astral Sky Visualization Technique to forge a connection with the countless stars and thus receive the starry sky's gift, Voldemort's brutal method of plundering stellar power was destined never to earn the starry sky's recognition.
Even if Voldemort could plunder this stellar power, it was still only stellar power. It could not form Star Origin.
This meant that the stellar power Voldemort seized would diminish with every use and could never be replenished!
However, Voldemort did not care about this. To him, the so-called starry sky was nothing special, and the only value stellar power held for him was breaking
