After everyone had taken their seats, Slughorn gestured for them to enjoy the food on the table while looking around at them. "I hear you've formed a student group called the D.A. Army? May I know which of you are members?"

Everyone except Marcus raised their hands, leaving Marcus looking rather awkward.

At the sight, Slughorn's mouth fell open in surprise.

He had assumed that this student group called the D.A. Army had merely been founded under the leadership of Rory and Lowell, two powerful young wizards who had advanced to Demon King level. He had thought its members might not necessarily be strong themselves, merely benefiting from Rory and Lowell's influence.

But judging from what had just happened, the D.A. Army was probably far more than he had imagined.

Slughorn looked at Irvin. Among the young wizards he had invited, only Irvin and Astoria gave him an unfathomable feeling.

Irvin in particular, with his gentle and refined appearance, gave him the feeling of seeing Dumbledore in his youth.

Slughorn asked warmly, "Irvin, I saw your performance in the Daily Prophet. May I see your lightning magic? It looks like a variation of the Weather Spell?"

Irvin nodded agreeably. With a turn of his left hand, a palm-sized ball of lightning appeared, hovering above his palm.

Everyone present could sense a dangerous aura from that ball of lightning, as though if it erupted, it could wipe out everyone in the compartment.

Yet under Irvin's perfect control, not the slightest trace of that aura leaked out.

"What incredible silent Wandless Magic!" Slughorn said in amazement. "I dare say that even Dumbledore, at your age, could not have done any better than you!"

Faced with Slughorn's praise, Irvin merely smiled faintly and waved his hand, dispersing the lightning in his palm.
