"Allow me to introduce myself," Yaxley said softly. "I am Yaxley, a loyal Death Eater serving the great Dark Lord."
Aragog watched him silently, waiting for him to continue.
Yaxley said flatly, "Aragog, king of the Acromantulas in the Forbidden Forest, I hope you will lead and represent the Acromantula population of the Forbidden Forest in forming an alliance with us Death Eaters, fighting for the Dark Lord's great cause."
At that, Aragog said mockingly, "Fight for this so-called Dark Lord of yours? Heh. Human wizard, the conflicts among you wizards have nothing to do with us. Why should we Acromantulas serve you?"
"You call it an alliance, but what you truly want is submission. Do you really think my old eyes are so clouded that I cannot see through the intentions of you despicable wizards? You want to use us Acromantulas as cannon fodder in your human wizards' struggle? Dream on!"
Aragog practically roared the words.
As Aragog's voice fell, countless Acromantulas crawled out from every direction around the nest, glaring menacingly at Yaxley, who stood not far from Aragog.
If this damned human wizard wanted to make the Acromantulas work for him and use them as cannon fodder, then Aragog would rather perish with him than let him succeed!
With that thought, a vicious glint appeared in Aragog's eyes.
But at that moment, Yaxley's airy voice drifted over once more.
"And in exchange, Aragog, after the Death Eaters breach Hogwarts Castle, we will help you—help the Acromantula population of the Forbidden Forest—occupy the entire Forbidden Forest and make the Acromantulas its rulers!"
"You will be able to breed and expand without restriction in the Forbidden Forest, feeding on every other creature within it. You may even expand outward and prey on those foolish Muggles. You will have more
