Over the three days before the Hogsmeade Weekend, the D.A. Army held another gathering. Taking this opportunity, Linley and Irina told the members that Neville had destroyed one of Voldemort's Horcruxes and would become the future leader of the D.A. Army.

Everyone looked at Neville with a touch of astonishment in their eyes.

They had never imagined that Neville, who was usually honest, simple, and inconspicuous, had now destroyed one of Voldemort's Horcruxes and leapt into the position of the D.A. Army leader designated by Linley and Irina.

Irvin and the others had no objections. They had never aspired to the position in the first place, and with Neville's performance in the battle at the Department of Mysteries, as well as his achievement in destroying Voldemort's Horcrux, they were quite supportive of Neville becoming the D.A. Army's leader.

However, some people felt indignant. In their view, Neville's magical ability was only above average within the D.A. Army, not particularly outstanding, and nowhere near Irvin and the others. They did not believe they were much weaker than Neville.

In order to convince the D.A. Army members, Linley specifically set up an arena on the Quidditch pitch, allowing every member who wished to compete for leadership of the D.A. Army to duel Neville.

In truth, those young wizards who were dissatisfied with Neville and believed they could do just as well were far inferior to Neville, whether in magical ability or dueling skill.

Before everyone's eyes, Neville swept through more than a dozen young wizards who challenged him, one after another, finally securing his position.

Soon, it was the Hogsmeade Weekend.
