Did I Kill Dumbledore?

After the terrible news of Dumbledore's murder spread from Hogwarts Castle, the entire British wizarding world was thrown into an uproar.

People could not believe that Dumbledore, who had once led them to victory over two generations of Dark Lords and was hailed as the greatest White Wizard of the century, had been murdered in his own Headmaster's office.

Who could kill Dumbledore? Who would dare kill Dumbledore?!

The people of the British wizarding world could not believe that a mere Hogwarts professor could kill Dumbledore, a Demon King level wizard. They would rather believe Voldemort had returned than accept that Dumbledore had been killed by one of his own professors.

Because that would mean the professors of Hogwarts Castle could no longer be trusted, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry could no longer be trusted, and Hogwarts, armed with vast quantities of weapons from Weasley's Armory, would replace Voldemort as the greatest threat to the British wizarding world!

Thus, rumors spread throughout the British wizarding world that Voldemort had broken into Hogwarts Castle, killed Dumbledore, and fled. Even more absurdly, the vast majority of wizards in Britain firmly believed those rumors!

After the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts Castle had begun purchasing weapons in bulk, the British wizarding world was once again gripped by mass panic.

Dumbledore was dead. Who else could lead them? Who else could protect them?

To the wizards of the British wizarding world, especially the older generation, Dumbledore had been their pillar of support. With Dumbledore dead, their sky had fallen!
