Harry suddenly appeared there. The Apparition Key in his hand lost all its magic after he activated and used it, turning into an ordinary spoon.
This also meant that Harry's journey to Eri Forest via the Apparition Key was one-way. There was no turning back for him.
Harry casually tossed aside the powerless spoon and gripped his Wand tightly. Taking a deep breath, he walked toward the forest that stretched beyond sight.
Eri Forest was simply an ordinary primeval forest. There were no magical plants, nor were there any traces of wizards.
Harry felt as though he had returned to the Muggle world. The only thing within his sight that had anything to do with magic was the Wand in his hand.
As time passed, Harry ventured deeper and deeper into Eri Forest, but the doubts—or rather, suspicions—in his heart grew as well.
According to Linley, Eri Forest showed signs of heavy Death Eater activity. Yet even if this primeval forest was enormous, shouldn't he have seen some lingering traces of magic?!
But Harry could not even see footprints left by others. The forest was utterly silent, and even the birdsong drifting from afar seemed faint and indistinct.
