It was a little after five in the morning on the third day of the apocalypse.
The twin moons gradually faded away. Summer's dawn was about to break.
A combat helicopter flew into Yun City Shelter.
As before, Lin Zhengxiao led a group of Yun City's high-ranking officials out to welcome them.
Four people climbed out of the helicopter.
An old man, a middle-aged man, a woman in her early thirties, and a woman who looked relatively young.
They should have arrived much earlier, but they had encountered numerous attacks from mutated insect creatures along the way. Among them were several Calamity-tier Insect Emperors of the Fourth and Fifth Orders.
After fighting all night, they had ended up arriving late.
"Where is the Demon Dragon?"
Before Lin Zhengxiao and the others could speak, the old man at the head of the group asked in a cool, indifferent tone.
Lin Zhengxiao replied respectfully, "In response, sir, they're at Qingyun High School. Would you like to go there now?"
The woman took out her phone and located Qingyun High School in Yun City. Ignoring Lin Zhengxiao, she said, "Got it. Let's go!"
With that, they left immediately.

Chu Beixuan was horrified. "No one can stop them. We should get out of here by helicopter, fast!"

Mu Qingxue's face turned livid. Without a second word, she said, "Let's go!"
Even if Meng Bao and Scarlet Emperor hadn't betrayed them, they probably wouldn't have stood a chance against Gu Qijue.
And now they had betrayed them, too.
A helicopter was parked a few hundred meters from the villa.
The outside was dangerous, too, but staying here meant certain death.
The group donned their Super Martial Armor and hurried toward the helicopter as fast as they could.

An overwhelming sense of suffocation closed in around him.
Zhu Hongyu and Xu Qing, however, didn't seem nearly as terrified.
They had never offended Gu Qijue, so they still had a good chance of surviving.
"I've only just arrived. Why are you all in such a hurry to leave?"
Gu Qijue appeared with Meng Bao and Scarlet Emperor, looking at the four of them with amusement.
"Gu Qijue, I'm willing to give you this shelter. Please let me leave, and I swear I'll never oppose you again."
Mu Qingxue dismissed her Super Martial Armor and bit her lip. "If you won't let me leave, I'm willing to become your woman."
