65 million years ago, Earth

The Superlight Wave Power Station on Titan was destroyed, giving rise to a very unusual moon in the Solar System.

The Carbon Fiber Tubes that wrapped around most of Titan's equator absorbed superluminal waves and released heat. This caused Titan's equator to bulge, making its northern and southern hemispheres look as if they had been welded together, with a long seam left along the equator.

Debris from the unidentified spacecraft and the Superlight Wave Power Station's components was scattered across Titan's eastern hemisphere. It melted the surface ice, exposing rocks and sediment that formed a vast, dark expanse.

The western hemisphere remained unpolluted, its ice shell crystal clear. This left the moon's western hemisphere bright and its eastern hemisphere dim, making it a literal "yin-yang face."

The Titan base could not store the consciousness codes of six billion Venusians, so Tesla had to find a huge "hard drive."

This "hard drive" could not be ice that would easily melt or rock that would weather away. Ideally, it would be metal that could maintain its stable properties for tens of millions of years.

Tesla thought of the enormous mass of metal that had erupted from Mars's core. He found the asteroid in the asteroid belt. It was big enough, with a diameter of 250 kilometers, and consisted almost entirely of metals such as iron, nickel, aluminum, gold, and platinum.

Maria reminded Tesla that consciousness codes could be etched onto a metal hard drive and preserved for tens of millions of years, but the Venusians' genetic material could not be converted into code. It had to remain viable.

Without Titan's Superlight Wave Power Station, the batteries they had stored on Earth could last only tens of thousands of years at most. What could they do then?
