Lin Yi, Mu En, and Beibei followed the Golden Tree’s guidance into the Thunderfall and found a Thunderclap Hellvine. The forty-five-thousand-year-old Soul Beast agreed to become Lin Yi’s Soul Ring because he was chosen by the Plane Core, then explained how its ancestors had created the Thunderfall.

• Lin Yi sensed that the Golden Tree was guiding him toward a Thunderclap Hellvine deep inside the Thunderfall, and Mu En agreed to lead him and Beibei there despite his injuries.
• Mu En protected the group from the violent lightning as they traveled into the Thunderfall and found a Thunderclap Hellvine absorbing thunder above a pool of Lightning Slurry.
• The Thunderclap Hellvine attacked them with Lightning Slurry, but Mu En’s Soul Power Shield stopped it; Lin Yi explained that he wanted its lightning to strengthen his Golden Tree Martial Soul.
