Divine Realm, Asgard Palace, grand hall.

Dark blue spatial mist opened here. Thor rushed out first, followed by Kyle, Banner, and Valkyrie.

The grand hall was utterly deserted, without even a single palace guard. Looking up, Kyle and the others could see that only a black-haired woman sat high upon the golden throne atop the hall's dais.

The cold, stunning woman wore a luxurious dark-gold crown and a black long-robed uniform. Her pale hands rested on the throne's armrests, and she appeared dignified and elegant, yet incomparably cold and imposing.

Seated upon the throne, her icy eyes outlined in black silently looked down at the group entering the hall. There was not the slightest surprise on her face, as if she had been waiting here for a very long time.

Odin's first child, the Goddess of Death, Hela.

Thor stared straight at Hela and shouted, "What did you do to Heimdall, the palace guards, and Asgard's army and people?"

"Nothing much. They refused to accept me, the original master of the Divine Realm, so I had no choice but to... kill them all." Hela spoke lightly, as though she had casually crushed a colony of ants.

"You bastard!" Thor roared. Powerful lightning flickered in his eyes, but with his hair cut short, it could no longer fly wildly around him.

"I've been waiting for you." Hela looked past him.

"I've been looking for you too. You—" Before Thor could finish, Hela gently shook her head without even looking at him. "I'm not talking about you. Thor, in my eyes, you carry no weight and pose no threat."

Thor frowned deeply and followed Hela's gaze toward Kaiya standing behind him.
