Five years had passed in the blink of an eye since Thanos led extraterrestrial forces in an invasion. Five years was neither long nor short. New York seemed to have worn away the pain of the past, and people of the new era kept gritting their teeth and moving forward. After all, no matter how hard life became, it still had to go on.

After the Thanos War, which had unfolded across Wakanda and many parts of New York five years ago, the final tally put the death toll at nearly 330,000. The number was horrifying, but considering that their enemy had been Thanos's fleet, which had destroyed countless planetary civilizations and dominated the galaxy without equal, such casualties could only be called a miracle for Earth.

Yet no one could be optimistic.

At the end of the Thanos War—
