Yang Jian gathered allies and grew stronger on his journey to Buzhou Mountain, while Venerable Yuanshi assembled Haotian and the Western Saints to turn Peach Mountain into a trap for Qin Mu. The arc left Yang Jian refining Three Lights Divine Water as the powers around him prepared for the coming conflict.

• Qin Mu sent Yang Jian toward Buzhou Mountain to prepare for splitting Peach Mountain and tasked Zhao Gongming with preventing anyone from interfering in Yang Jian’s trial.
• Yang Jian rescued the Howling Sky Hound from demons who had destroyed its clan, accepted its pledge to follow him, and took it toward Buzhou Mountain.
• At Wuzhuang Temple, Zhenyuanzi gave Yang Jian and the Howling Sky Hound Ginseng Fruits, helping Yang Jian reach the Daluo Golden Immortal realm and awakening the Hound’s Heavenly Demon bloodline.
• Yang Jian defeated the Seven Monsters of Mount Mei, accepted them as followers, and left Yuan Hong to build a force at Plum Mountain while the Howling Sky Hound guarded him.
• Qin Mu gave Yuan Hong an Innate Spiritual Treasure, and Yang Jian later joined Fire Spirit on the road to Buzhou Mountain after rescuing her from attackers seeking her Fire Spirit Origin.
• Venerable Yuanshi sought support from Nuwa, Haotian, Jieyin, and Zhunti, then joined their plan to make Peach Mountain a killing trap for Qin Mu with Luohu’s demonic power as a threat.
• Yang Jian and Fire Spirit climbed Buzhou Mountain for years, broke into a hidden treasure land, and found a pool of Three Lights Divine Water.
• Yang Jian drove off an azure-robed cultivator who tried to seize the divine water, then began refining it to cleanse and strengthen his foundation while Fire Spirit stood guard.

Yang Jian gained Xing Tian’s Shield-Axe and grew into a Quasi-Saint while preparing to free his mother from Peach Mountain. As he led his army to face Haotian’s forces, allies from the Sect of Interception and the Asura Clan set out to support him.

• Qin Mu arranged for Xing Tian to lend Yang Jian Shield-Axe, and Yang Jian and Fire Spirit later obtained the weapon and Xing Tian’s Great Witch Quintessential Blood.
• Yang Jian and Fire Spirit defeated a Heavenly Court force, and Yang Jian announced that he would come to Peach Mountain in three months to rescue his mother.
• Qin Mu revived Xing Tian in an Ancestral Witch body, and Xing Tian survived the Heavenly Dao’s punishment with Qin Mu’s aid.
• Yang Jian reunited with Yang Chan at Wa Huang Palace, and Nuwa gave her the Lotus Lantern before the siblings set out for Peach Mountain.
• Chi You escorted Yang Jian and Yang Chan to Emperor Venerate, who revealed himself as one of Qin Mu’s Clones and helped Yang Jian reach the early-stage Quasi-Saint realm.
• Yang Jian returned to Plum Mountain, gathered thirty-six thousand demon soldiers, and marched toward Peach Mountain as Fire Spirit and Yang Chan joined him.
• Haotian sent one hundred thousand heavenly soldiers to guard Peach Mountain, while Sect Master Tongtian and Ancestor Minghe dispatched forces to support Yang Jian.
• Yang Jian’s army arrived before the Heavenly Net Formation, where a golden-armored general demanded his surrender.

Yang Jian’s attempt to free Yaoji drew the Sect of Interception, the Asura Clan, and Qin Mu into a battle against the Heavenly Court and the Saints. Qin Mu defeated Haotian and Venerable Yuanshi, leaving Jieyin and Zhunti begging for their lives.

• Yang Jian broke through Haotian’s pressure and fought to free Yaoji, but Haotian’s incarnation overpowered him until Yang Chan used the Lotus Lantern to save him and Chi You arrived to help.
• As Chi You battled Haotian, King Dizang stopped Yang Jian from striking Peach Mountain, then trapped him in a Buddhist formation until Daoist Duobao and the Ten Thousand Immortals of the Sect of Interception broke it.
• The Asura Clan joined the battle, but Haotian, Jieyin, and Zhunti pinned Yang Jian and his allies beneath their combined power until Huang Tian intervened and helped Yang Jian shatter Peach Mountain’s restrictions.
• Venerable Yuanshi stopped Yang Jian’s axe, but Qin Mu arrived, revealed Huang Tian as his incarnation, destroyed the four Saints’ incarnations, and faced their true bodies.
• Qin Mu countered the Saints’ attacks with his past, present, and future Dao bodies, killed Haotian, and crushed the Devil Race army and Chonglou after Venerable Yuanshi summoned them.
• Qin Mu used the Sacred Spirit Pearl to sever Venerable Yuanshi from the Primordial Heavenly Dao, and the Eye of the Heavenly Dao stripped Yuanshi of his Saint Position.
• Qin Mu killed Venerable Yuanshi with the Destruction Divine Spear, absorbed his remaining origin energy, and left Jieyin and Zhunti pleading for mercy.

After Venerable Yuanshi’s death, the Primordial Heavenly Demon took his place, seized the Chan Teachings, and began using ancient powers to pursue the Immortal Seed. Qin Mu broke through to the Heavenly Dao Realm, secured two Saint positions for the Sect of Interception, and learned the scale of the demon’s plan as it moved against Lu Ya.

• Qin Mu rescued Yaoji and reunited her with Yang Jian and Yang Chan, while Haotian restored Yaoji’s status and offered titles that Yang Jian rejected.
• The Primordial Heavenly Demon appeared at Kunlun Mountain as Yuanshi, killed the Dragon Emperor, and won the submission of the Chan Teachings by raising Guangchengzi to Sainthood with the Heaven-Burying Seal.
• Hongjun told Qin Mu that the Primordial Heavenly Demon was a survivor from an earlier era and begged him to intervene, so Qin Mu secured two Saint Throne Origins in exchange for helping.
• The Primordial Heavenly Demon enlisted Ji Fa and the Nine-Tailed Fox, gave them demonic seeds to restore some of their power, and ordered Ji Fa to attack Great Shang while he prepared to face Qin Mu.
• Qin Mu returned to the Sect of Interception and gave the two Saint Throne Origins to Yunxiao and Xi He, then identified the Investiture of the Gods Calamity as Duobao’s chance to become a Saint.
• Qin Mu secretly followed the Primordial Heavenly Demon to Tanggu Valley, where the demon demanded Lu Ya’s Great Sun Dao Source and revealed his plan to refine the Primordial Wilderness and draw forth the Immortal Seed.
