• Chen Changan defeated Hou Mubai in a swordsmanship duel, then brought Hou Mubai, Qi Wushang, and Da Huang into the Profound Sword Sect’s convention team.

• Old Beggar led the group to the tomb’s hidden interior, where Chen Changan found Old Beggar’s corpse and learned that the Myriad Demon Sword had controlled the Sword Protecting Clan and erased Old Beggar’s memories.
• The Myriad Demon Sword revealed that the former leading sects were sacrificed to nurture a sword, and Chen Changan freed it from its bindings after agreeing to make it serve him.
• Chen Changan destroyed the Chaos Sword Tomb, and the Myriad Demon Sword chose Hou Mubai as its wielder while Old Beggar reconciled with it.
• Chen Changan decided to continue the Burial Sword Convention to draw out the forces behind it, then challenged the Glazed Sword Sect and defeated its ancestor without killing him.
