Chen Changan claimed the Saint Origin Fragment, defeated Liuyun Divine Emperor, and searched the Tai Yuan Realm for the last Saint Dao Scepter and sources of Origin Energy of Dao. He found the scepter in Nightmare Land and tracked another source to the Tianlin Divine Sect.

• Chen Changan endured the Rakshasa Clan elders’ attacks, found the Saint Origin Fragment on the patriarch, and claimed it after defeating him.
• Chen Changan learned more about the Sacred War Ruins, then traveled with his companions to the Haotian Realm.
• Da Huang and Little Earthworm revealed their ties to the Kirin Race and Dragon Race as their companions fought the nine Divine Emperors and Liuyun Divine Emperor’s forces.

Chen Changan reclaimed the sealed part of himself, restored the Sacred War Ruins, and left the Divine Realm after Treading Moon opened a passage. In the Barren Desert, he faced other contenders and was drawn into an arena where only ten of fifty contestants could qualify for the Sacred Domain.

• Chen Changan opened the Sacred War Ruins, learned that its residents had sealed his former self, and set out to reclaim it.
• Chen Changan cleared the trials of the mountain experts and the Night Spirit Race, then spent seventy years with Yu Nian Nian until they conceived a child.
• Chen Changan found the seal’s center, reunited with the other part of himself, and gained a Sacred Soul after absorbing the Origin Energy of Dao.

Chen Changan and his companions entered the Sacred Domain and passed Tianshu Sacred Dao Academy’s trials, where Chen Changan’s immense Saint’s Will drew the Deans’ attention. After reaching Peak Ancestor God, he clashed with academy students and was granted unusual freedom before entering a public duel with a Junior Mentor.

• Chen Changan entered the Sacred Domain with Fan Tianhua and the others, learned about its ranked academies, and accepted Yu Chengan’s invitation to take Tianshu Sacred Dao Academy’s assessment.
• Chen Changan and his nine companions passed the first two trials, while Chen Changan’s enormous Saint’s Will phantom astonished the academy’s Deans and students.
• In the final trial, Chen Changan lived as a powerless young man, retrieved Spirit Connecting Grass, and killed two Third-tier Demonic Beasts before confronting the Chen Family over his maid’s murder.
• Chen Changan killed Chen Shaojie and other Chen Family members, buried his maid, and ended the trial by stabbing himself, and Yu Chengan then told him that his candid actions had earned him a pass.
• Chen Changan, Fan Tianhua, and Ye Bufan passed the assessment and joined the academy, after three years of cultivation, Chen Changan emerged at Peak Ancestor God.
• When academy students mocked Chen Changan and his companions, Chen Changan defeated members of the Disciplinary Team and cut Yin Feng in half, prompting a mentor to challenge him.
• Yu Chengan announced that the Deans had granted Chen Changan broad freedom to act unless he killed students or committed great evil, and the academy arranged a public duel between him and the Junior Mentor.
• Chen Changan entered the duel space as the academy speculated that the Junior Mentor would beat him, while Fan Tianhua announced a betting pool backed by Yu Chengan.
