Yu Mingfei completed the Sea God Mountain trial, gained a hundred-thousand-year Fourth Soul Ring, and helped Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling obtain powerful Fourth Soul Rings. He set out to kill the Evil Orca King with Xiaobai and their allies, while Ye Lingling revealed how her new Soul Bone could help protect Yu Mingfei.

• Yu Mingfei completed the Sea God Mountain trial and received the Sea God’s Third Trial: kill the Evil Orca King within one year.
• Yu Mingfei absorbed a God-Bestowed Soul Ring and used his Dragon King aura to form a hundred-thousand-year Fourth Soul Ring.
• Yu Mingfei led Dugu Bo, Dugu Yan, Ye Lingling, and Sea Witch to search for Fourth Soul Rings, and Dugu Yan successfully absorbed a ten-thousand-year Thorn Tail Fish Soul Ring.
• Yu Mingfei and Xiaobai found the Evil Spirit Orcas fighting over their injured king, and Xiaobai agreed to help Yu Mingfei while asking him to protect the Demon Soul Great White Sharks.
• Yu Mingfei spread Dragon Blood among the Evil Spirit Orcas, controlled the transformed survivors, and found a ten-thousand-year Amethyst Coral inside a corpse.
• Ye Lingling absorbed the Amethyst Coral as a ten-thousand-year Fourth Soul Ring, and Yu Mingfei gave her its healing-type left leg Soul Bone.
• Yu Mingfei decided to join Xiaobai, Sea Witch, and Dugu Bo in killing the Evil Orca King, while Ye Lingling showed that her Soul Bone could shield Yu Mingfei and share the force of mental attacks.

Yu Mingfei defeated the Evil Orca King, advanced his trials, and left Sea God Island with Xiaobai. After clashing with Qian Daoliu, he learned Qian Renxue needed his help with her Angel trials and arrived at Spirit Hall with Bo Saixi’s agreement to accompany him.

• Yu Mingfei discovered that he and Xiaobai could fuse into a time-accelerated shark form, then led the Demon Soul Great White Sharks to attack the Evil Spirit Orcas.
• Yu Mingfei used Dragon Blood and his Soul Skills to turn captured Evil Spirit Orcas into servants and direct them against their king.
• Dugu Bo froze the Evil Orca King as Xiaobai killed it, completing Yu Mingfei’s Third Trial and earning him the task of finding the Sea God’s Heart.
• Di Tian gave Yu Mingfei a pearl containing the Silver Dragon King’s spiritual sense and Dragon Blood, and Yu Mingfei fought him in a colossal fusion form before Di Tian escaped.
• Yu Mingfei left Sea God Island with Xiaobai, learned Xue Qinghe had become emperor, and was confronted by Qian Daoliu outside Vast Sea City.
• Bo Saixi fought Qian Daoliu while Yu Mingfei and Xiaobai strengthened her control over the water, and Qian Daoliu stopped attacking after recognizing Yu Mingfei’s connection to Qian Renxue’s Divine Trial.
• Qian Daoliu revealed that Qian Renxue needed Yu Mingfei’s cooperation, and Bo Saixi agreed to the arrangement while insisting on accompanying him.
• Qian Daoliu brought Yu Mingfei to Spirit City, where Yu Mingfei found Qian Renxue praying before the Six-winged Angel statue and teased her in her Xue Qinghe appearance.

Yu Mingfei helped Qian Renxue complete her Angel trial, settled matters with Tang Hao, and advanced his Sea God trials. He returned toward Heaven Dou City with Chen Xin, where he reunited with Ning Rongrong and drew the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect into his plans.

• Chen Xin followed clues to Sea God Island, learned from Dugu Bo that Yu Mingfei had left for Vast Sea City, and continued his search as Yu Mingfei arrived at Spirit Hall.
• Yu Mingfei sparred with Qian Renxue, revealed his powerful Soul Rings, and helped her complete the Angel Third Trial through their Martial Soul Fusion Skill.
• After Tang Hao attacked Spirit Hall’s academy demanding Ah Yin, Yu Mingfei defeated him and later extracted Ah Yin’s soul from his ninth Soul Ring.
• Yu Mingfei absorbed a hundred-thousand-year sixth Soul Ring, completed the Sea God’s Fifth Trial, and received a new trial to defeat Bo Saixi within five years.
• Yu Mingfei killed Tang Hao after interrupting his attempted Ring Detonation, then refined part of Ah Yin’s soul into his Blue Emperor Blade.
• On the way to Heaven Dou, Yu Mingfei encountered Ning Rongrong and the Shrek group, imposed a week of street-cleaning as punishment, and showed Ning Rongrong his six Soul Rings.
• Ning Rongrong evolved her Martial Soul into a Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda after absorbing the Aromatic Silk Beauty, while Ning Fengzhi and Chen Xin agreed to help Yu Mingfei capture a transformed Soul Beast.
