The Wood Golem burst from the ground and reached out with both hands, grabbing Garaga by the head.
"Roar?! Human! What are you doing?!" Garaga cried in shock and fury, thrashing its massive body wildly.
The Wood Golem's arms bulged with muscle. It twisted at the waist and swung Garaga's mountain-sized body all the way around.
Then, like a gigantic scarlet whip, it slammed Garaga hard against the solid rock wall.
Bang! Boom! Smack!
"Ugh!!!"
"Human! You'll pay for this!! I'll eat you alive!!"
Garaga was battered until it saw stars, and its fury only grew more frenzied.
Unfortunately for it, the response was another, even more vicious swing.
Grabbing Garaga by the head, the Wood Golem smashed it against the rock wall like a broken sack, leaving deep, snake-shaped dents in the stone.
"Human! Let me go!!"

"Human! Are you ever going to stop?!!" Garaga roared.
It had lorded over Ryūchi Cave for years. When had it ever suffered such humiliation? Being swung around like a whip?!
The Wood Golem didn't let up. It grabbed Garaga and slammed it this way and that, swinging it up and smashing it down.
After who knew how many blows, Garaga felt like every bone in its body was about to come apart. Its vision swam.
"...Stop... stop..."
"Human... spare me..."
"I... give in..."
"You give in?"
Standing on the Wood Golem's shoulder, Yo looked down at Garaga.
"Weren't you just so stubborn? Who knew you could back down?"
Garaga gasped for breath. The golden light in its single eye had dimmed, and its body was covered in rubble and volcanic ash. It looked utterly wretched.
It barely had the strength left to curse. Its hiss came out weak and feeble.
