Background

Yo and Sasuke are twin Uchiha orphans who live together and share a birthday. Yo is the older brother. Unlike Sasuke’s colder, more arrogant demeanor, Yo is outwardly calm and treats Sasuke kindly. 1 2

At age twelve, Yo possesses an unawakened Sharingan but believes his unusually stable emotions make normal awakening difficult. After gaining Hashirama Senju’s Sage Body, he considers transplanting Mangekyo Sharingan instead. 3

He develops Wood Release in secret by delegating missions to Shadow Clones and repeatedly practicing the fusion of Earth, Water, and Yang Release. His successful formula uses a 5:4:1 ratio respectively. 8 10
