Background / History

Sasuke is the younger twin of Uchiha Yao and a son of former Uchiha clan head Uchiha Fugaku. He and Yao were left as orphans following the Uchiha Clan's destruction, while their elder brother Itachi became the person Sasuke swore to kill. 1 6 64 146

During their early childhood, Sasuke could still defeat Yao in sparring. Yao's sudden growth over the following year reversed that relationship, leaving Sasuke repeatedly defeated and determined not to fall too far behind him. Sasuke awakened his Sharingan at age seven, years before Yao acquired transplanted eyes. 2 9

After graduating from the Academy, Sasuke joined Team 7 alongside Naruto and Yao under Kakashi. He initially pursued the bell test as an individual, but ultimately refused to accept a bell at Yao's expense, demonstrating that he valued his teammates despite his aloof manner. 5 8
