Kara Organization's New Plan

Shikamaru unrolled the scroll on the desk.

"According to the intelligence department," he said, "the Kara Organization has been very active along the borders lately."

"The borders?" Kiyomi asked.

"That's right," Shikamaru said. "They've been gathering information on the Tailed Beasts."

Kiyomi's eyes widened.

"The Tailed Beasts?"

"That's right," Naruto said. "The Tailed Beasts may be their targets."

Kiyomi clenched her fists.

"Why are they gathering information on the Tailed Beasts?"

"We don't know," Shikamaru said. "But it can't be anything good."

Sasuke walked over to the map.

"These are the places where they've appeared recently." He pointed to several spots on the map. "Near Kirigakure, near Kumogakure, and near Sunagakure."

"They're all villages with Tailed Beasts," Naruto said.

"What are they planning?" Kiyomi asked.

"They may be trying to capture the Tailed Beasts," Sasuke said.

Naruto's expression turned serious.

"We can't let them succeed."

"I've already notified the other villages," Shikamaru said. "I told them to increase their security."

"But that's not enough," Sasuke said. "We need to take the initiative."

"Take the initiative?" Kiyomi said.

"That's right," Sasuke said. "Find the Kara Organization's base and wipe them all out."

"But we don't know where their base is," Shikamaru said.

"We can investigate," Sasuke said.

Naruto nodded.

"Sasuke's right," he said. "We can't just sit back and defend."

"Then I'll go too," Kiyomi said.

"No," Naruto said. "It's too dangerous."

"But I want to help," Kiyomi said.

"You're not strong enough yet," Sasuke said. "The Kara Organization's Inner members are all very powerful."

Kiyomi gritted her teeth.

"Then I'll keep training."

"Good," Sasuke said. "Once you get stronger, you'll be able to take part in missions."

Kiyomi nodded.

"I understand."

She turned to leave.

"Kiyomi," Naruto called after her.
