The Truth About the Kara Organization

"Defeated Jigen?"

Sasuke frowned.

"By herself?"

"Yeah," Naruto said. "Zero said Jigen was dead."

"Just like that?"

Kiyomi also found it strange.

Jigen was so strong. How could he have been defeated so easily?

"Zero also said something else," Naruto continued. "The true leader of the Kara Organization is someone called 'God.'"

"God?"

"Yeah," Naruto said. "Jigen was just a pawn. The real leader had been hiding behind the scenes all along."

"What about now?" Sasuke asked.

"Zero said she'd keep investigating," Naruto replied. "She told us to wait for news."

The meeting ended.

Kiyomi walked out of the Hokage's Office.

Shinra was waiting outside.

"How did it go?"

"Jigen is dead," Kiyomi said.

"Really?"

"I don't know." Kiyomi shook her head. "It just doesn't feel that simple."

"I think so too," Shinra said. "The Kara Organization won't fall so easily."

The two of them walked along the streets of the Leaf.

"By the way," Shinra said suddenly. "I'm going back to Sunagakure."

Kiyomi stopped.

"When?"

"Tomorrow."

"So soon..."

"The exercise is over," Shinra said. "My grandfather told me to come back."

Kiyomi lowered her head.

They'd only just gotten together, and now they had to part.

"Don't be like that." Shinra took her hand. "I'll come see you often."

"Really?"

"Of course." Shinra smiled. "And you can come to Sunagakure too."

"That's true."
