Nail was about to attack Glen and the others.

The Grand Elder knew Nail's temperament well and hurriedly rebuked him. "These three are the legendary Kai and Supreme Kais. Do not be rude. Go gather the Wish Orbs and bring them here."
The Grand Elder knew quite a bit about the duties of such gods.
Their duties were to maintain balance in the universe and eliminate all factors detrimental to its development.

"Glen, you still haven't said what we can do after summoning Shenron," Supreme Kai Shin asked.
"After summoning Shenron, you can make wishes to him. As long as the wish isn't too difficult, Shenron can usually grant it."
While Nail was still gathering the Dragon Balls, Glen explained things to the ignorant Shin.
The Grand Elder narrowed his eyes. He hadn't expected this Kai child to know so much.
"He can grant wishes?"
Supreme Kai Shin was a little puzzled. He pointed at the Grand Elder. "If Shenron can grant wishes, then why doesn't he wish for eternal youth from this Shenron, when he's already so old?"
He had barely finished speaking.
The Grand Elder immediately said, "Lord Supreme Kai, we Namekians love peace and respect the laws of nature. Birth, aging, illness, and death are also part of those laws. We would never make such a wish."
As he spoke, there was no trace of fear of death on the Grand Elder's face.

The Grand Elder stammered, "H-he... he's the Lord God of Destruction Candidate?"

Supreme Kai Shin glanced at Glen, then back at the Grand Elder, and asked curiously, "Judging by your expression, you seem to know this fellow, just like the Grand Elder on Planet Yardrat did. Is this God of Destruction Candidate really that famous?"
