Gran looked in the direction of Yamcha's energy. It was as if he were watching a comedy movie, and he laughed so hard he could barely catch his breath.
In the original story, Yamcha had nearly been killed by Dr. Gero. Unexpectedly, things were still the same now.
Gran withdrew his gaze.
Those guys would probably need some time before they arrived here. He should catch up with Cell first.
So Gran began walking across the small island again.
Gran did not walk very quickly. Like an elementary school student on a field trip, he walked while admiring the scenery around him.
After crossing grasslands and passing through a dense forest, Gran arrived beside a Stream of Potential.
Standing by the stream, he looked ahead. Though this island was not particularly large, it had a human town and a range of mountains.
Gran looked at the mountain range. From what he remembered, Dr. Gero's Laboratory seemed to be inside a cave on one of those peaks.
"Cell's energy is in this direction too. Then this is the right place!"
Gran continued onward. After climbing one peak after another, he finally reached the location of Cell's energy.
Cell's energy was coming from halfway up a mountain. Gran looked over and, sure enough, there was a cave there.
"Found it!!"
Gran bared his teeth in a grin and openly walked up to the cave entrance halfway up the mountain.
A complete iron door stood before the entrance, fitted with a password lock. But it was now battered beyond recognition. Clearly, Cell had forced his way in.
"How crude."
Gran clicked his tongue twice.
Just then.
A voice came from inside:
"Hahaha, I finally found you two!"
"Good thing Trunks and the others from this timeline didn't kill you. Otherwise, I'd have to
