God of Destruction Realm.
With Whis's permission, Gran settled down in the God of Destruction Realm.
Early the next morning, Whis provided ingredients again, and Gran made breakfast for Whis and himself.
Breakfast consisted of two bowls of beef noodles, one large and one small. The smaller one was about the size of a normal noodle bowl, but the larger one was as big as a water vat!!!!!
Seeing the absurdly huge bowl of beef noodles on the table, Whis's mouth twitched.
However, he had witnessed Gran's appetite yesterday, so he did not say much.
As Whis ate the beef noodles, little stars appeared in his eyes again.
It seemed that letting the little guy stay in the God of Destruction Realm had been an absolutely correct choice!
Whis suddenly thought of Beerus again and instinctively shielded his bowl.
At the dining table, Gran sucked in a mouthful of noodles and raised his little head. "Mr. Whis, what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
Whis smiled awkwardly.
He had grown so used to fighting Beerus over food that whenever he ate something delicious, he instinctively guarded against him.
Gran nodded his little head, then suddenly thought of something. "According to the rumors, isn't there also a Prophecy Fish in the God of Destruction Realm? Why haven't I seen him?"
"He has fallen asleep."
Whis glanced at the little guy. He really knew quite a lot. "All right, no talking while eating or sleeping. Eat quickly. I'll teach you how to train later."
Gran really wanted to complain. He did not know who had let out those strange noises of enjoyment with every bite of fish yesterday.
But when he heard that Whis was about to teach him how to train, he hurriedly sped up his breakfast.
More than ten minutes later.
Whis used magic to clear away the bowls and chopsticks from the lakeside table, and the two of them stood by the lake.
Whis stared fixedly at Gran.
His energy was violent, his aura unstable, every movement contained unnecessary motions, he could not restrain his aura, his state of mind could not keep up with his Dimension, and his dimensional realm was unstable...
Under Whis's strange gaze, Gran could not help swallowing. "Mr. Whis, what's wrong?"
Holding his Staff, Whis clicked his tongue. "Do you know how large the God of Destruction Realm is?"
Why was he asking that? Gran shook his head. "I don't know."
Whis said seriously, "Your flaws could circle the God of Destruction Realm ten times."
Gran: "..."
As expected of Vados's younger brother. That little mouth of his was as poisonous as venom!
Gran still asked respectfully, "Mr. Whis, then how should I train?"
"At your current stage, you still cannot train your strength."
"Why?"
"You recovered from a near-death state a few days ago, and your strength surged to two hundred times its original level. You know that, right?" Whis asked meaningfully.
"What?"
Gran's eyes widened as he touched his body.
So it was true that a Saiyan could awaken his potential by recovering from the brink of death!
He was an Elite Warrior. Eight hundred Battle Power multiplied by two hundred meant one hundred and sixty thousand Battle Power. That was even stronger than Ginyu!
"I can possess one hundred and sixty thousand Battle Power at six years old?"
Gran was incredibly excited. He had not expected his talent to be so powerful.
Whis secretly shook his head.
Gran was only six years old. His potential had not yet reached the point of erupting.
If it had merely been potential awakened through severe injury, a tenfold increase in strength would already have been considered good. It was simply impossible to increase it by two hundred times.
The reason Gran's strength had risen by two hundred times was entirely due to the effects of his dimensional advancement.
"Although that suddenly increased strength is also your strength, you haven't mastered it yet. So in another sense, it isn't your strength."
Whis smiled faintly. "Don't you think your aura is very unstable right now?"
Gran shook his head.
Not counting the time he had spent unconscious, it had been less than two days since he transmigrated here.
In that amount of time, let alone mastering that suddenly increased strength, he had not even been able to fully control the original eight hundred points of strength in this body.
At most, Gran could currently fire a few energy blasts using the memories in his mind. As for deeper control over his aura, he did not know anything about it.
Naturally, he could not sense auras either!
Gran lifted his little tiger-like head, his eyes blazing. "Mr. Whis, what do I need to do now?"
"At your current stage, you need to build a foundation. Only with a solid foundation can you go farther in the future."
Whis teased, "Your first step now is to master every strand of your strength. But the process will be a little painful. Can you accept that?"
"Painful?"
Gran shook his head, determination filling his round eyes. "I'm not afraid!"
There were too many powerful beings in the Dragon Ball world. Any one of their attacks could destroy a planet.
Without sufficient strength, let alone climbing to the top of the King of All's Universe, whether he could even survive was a question!
Compared to death, Gran would rather suffer a little more pain.
"Fine, you said it. Follow me."
Whis walked toward the distant God of Destruction Palace with a wicked grin.
Gran hurried after him, but then he realized that they were heading toward the God of Destruction Palace.
His scalp instantly went numb. Was he going to enter the God of Destruction Palace? That was where Lord Beerus slept!
The two soon arrived before the gates of the God of Destruction Temple.
The two doors stood five meters tall and were grayish white overall, carved with many ancient patterns. Wisps of Destruction Aura occasionally leaked through the gaps.
Standing before the gates, Gran felt as if his entire body had fallen into an ice cellar, as though the aura seeping out would disintegrate him the next second!
Could this be the pain of mastering his strength?
However!
"Come in."
Whis ignored Gran completely and pushed open the gates before walking inside.
The instant Whis opened the gates, a vast aura rushed toward him. Gran was instantly forced to the ground, and even his soul trembled.
What kind of aura was this?!
So... so terrifying!
Whis looked back at Gran, the corner of his mouth curling slightly upward.
This was the snoring aura of the sleeping Beerus, mixed with a trace of Destruction Aura. If an ordinary person were enveloped by this aura, they would undoubtedly be reduced to nothing, not even bones left behind.
However...
Gran's Dimension had already reached Supreme Kai Realm Peak. His next realm would be the Divine Dimension, on the same level as Beerus.
With such a Dimension supporting him, Gran had avoided being reduced to ashes.
"Keep following me."
Whis knew Gran would be fine and entered the palace's main hall.
There was a long corridor on each side of the hall. He turned and headed down the one on the right.
Gran struggled to climb to his feet. Finding that his body had not been harmed, he realized this was not yet the place where he would master his strength.
So he hurried after Whis again.
There were many windows along the corridor, through which part of the God of Destruction Realm's scenery could be seen.
Gran also noticed that the corridor was circular, as though it surrounded something.
His heart jolted, and he cautiously called toward Whis's back.
"Mr. Whis, could this be where Lord Beerus sleeps?"
Gran pointed at the inner wall of the corridor.
Whis turned back and smiled. "That's right. Inside is the space where Lord Beerus sleeps. If you don't want to wake Lord Beerus, you'd better not make too much noise."
Wake Beerus?
Gran thought of the scenes from Battle of Gods.
Impossible. In the anime, even an alarm clock with a timed bomb had nearly failed to wake Beerus. How could a little talking possibly disturb him?
Whis is really mean!
Gran cursed inwardly, but he still did not dare make too much noise. Better safe than sorry.
Seeing Gran's cautious appearance, Whis thought the little guy had been frightened by him and could not help revealing a smug, wicked grin.
"Go in. If you stay inside for three years, you should be able to fully master your own strength."
At the end of the corridor, Whis opened a door.
"Three years?"
Before Gran could react, a kick landed on his little butt, sending his entire small body tumbling into the room.
Whis's smug "Oh-ho-ho" laughter came from outside.
That laughter gave Gran an ominous feeling. He had just climbed up from the ground when he finally saw the environment inside the room clearly.
Calling it a room would be less accurate than calling it a world. It was enormous.
Deserts, glaciers, storms...
The environment in this world was extremely harsh, and many bizarre giant beasts were fighting and roaring.
Suddenly!
A powerful pressure assaulted him!
"Gravity!"
Gran was crushed to the ground, feeling as though every cell in his body had been bound in shackles.
And that was not all. Many giant beasts saw him appear and charged toward him.
Was he supposed to fight giant beasts in this environment? So this was how he would master his own strength!!
"Ahhh!!!"
"Whis, I hate you!!!"
"Next time I make Chiaotzu, I'll make sure you eat nothing but wrappers!!!"
Time flew by, and a month passed just like that.
There was a set of tables and chairs by the lake. Whis sat in a chair, looking somewhat listless.
He sighed and muttered to himself, "By my calculations, that little guy still has more than two years before he comes out. Life without his cooking is truly hard!"
Suddenly!
A little tiger-headed fellow walked out of the palace, looking utterly bedraggled.
Blood stained the corner of his mouth, his clothes had been torn into strips, and his body was covered in wounds...
However, judging from his movements, he seemed to have completely mastered his strength!
