Mechikkapula noticed Gran's movement. He had actually popped a bean into his mouth.
"What good will eating a bean do? Don't tell me you expect that bean to restore..."
Before Mechikkapula could finish.

Gran's aura instantly returned to its full strength.
Gran hovered in the chaotic void in his Super Saiyan 4 State, his body covered in red fur. The golden rings in his eyes gave him a sinister allure.
"Looks like my stamina's back."
Gran rolled his neck. Naturally, that bean had been none other than a Senzu Bean, which he had always carried with him.
He simply hadn't used any in all these years because his opponents had been too weak. Now, though, he could use them again.
"N-no way!"
Mechikkapula's pupils abruptly contracted. "You actually restored your stamina with that bean? But there wasn't a trace of magic on it! How could you..."
"Shut up!"
"Just be a good whetstone for me!"
Gran vanished from sight in an instant.
"Fool! So what if you can restore your stamina? I can restore mine with magic too, and your speed is nowhere near mine. You'll still fall at my hands!"
With an angry roar, Mechikkapula vanished as well.
Their fierce battle resumed deep within the lawless chaos.
Gran attacked relentlessly, actively driving his still-immature powers of time, space, and destruction to strike in turn.
He unleashed his time domain, trying to slow Mechikkapula's movements. But Mechikkapula wielded the eighth tier space-time rule, and Gran's power of time had no effect on him whatsoever.
Gran then unleashed Spatial Annihilation, but Mechikkapula stepped out of the distorted space with a single stride.
