Li Dan had to make a trip there. The nightmare was tied to a multilayered Ghost Domain, and he could not afford to take it lightly.

He already had ways to deal with the supernatural, but when it came to dreams and consciousness, he was starting from scratch.

That Nightmare Ghost Domain could apparently develop deeper layers, which made a multilayered nightmare well worth investigating.

Any Ghost Domain was dangerous. Even its precursors—ghostly mazes and illusions—were far more terrifying than ordinary supernatural phenomena if they possessed any of its traits.

This time, Li Dan had done his research.

Freddy, whose full name was Freddy Krueger, had been a child murderer in Springwood. After he killed several children, enraged parents cornered him in a boiler room and burned him alive.

His resentment endured. He became a dream demon and took revenge by invading teenagers' dreams.

His trademarks were a burned face, a red-and-green striped sweater, a metal-clawed glove, and that chilling nursery rhyme.

"One, two, Freddy's coming for you..."

Notably, the rhyme was not a curse, unlike Mary Shaw's nursery rhyme, which had lodged itself deep in people's minds.

Because Freddy existed only in nightmares, even the Holy See had no way to deal with him.

After fleeing Crystal Lake last time, Freddy had continued killing wherever he went.

Li Dan had heard that he had grown much quieter, though the occasional case was still linked to him.
