The six gathered again the next day.

Worries showed on all their faces, and after comparing notes, they found that each of them had been attacked by the clown while searching for their tokens.

Fortunately, everyone had made it back safely.

It was a victory, one that boosted their confidence. At least they were no longer as terrified as they had been at the beginning, turning pale at the mere mention of it.

At that moment, Mike interrupted.

"Could it be that the clown isn't attacking because he just wants to feed on our fear?"

Beverly said speechlessly, "Mike, you don't have to say anything if you don't want to."

Bill had calmed down considerably after seeing Annabelle.

"It's fine. We've gathered all the tokens, and we even brought in an exorcist to help. The clown has already set his sights on us. If we don't seal him away, he'll come for us one by one sooner or later, like the Grim Reaper."

Afterward, Bill told them about meeting Li Dan, giving everyone a much-needed boost of confidence.

After the group assembled,

the six packed up their tokens and headed for the deep-well shack where the clown had been sealed all those years ago.

The shack was hidden in the woods at the edge of Derry Town. Half its roof had collapsed, and a crooked wooden sign at the entrance read, "No Entry," its paint flaked away until only a few traces remained.

From afar, they saw a figure standing in front of the shack.

Beverly and the others jumped, nearly assuming it was the clown.

Only when Li Dan turned around did they relax.

"I've been waiting for you. Let's go."
