The Pain Realm Leviathan Left Behind

What was hell like?

Li Dan stepped into this branch of hell known as the "Sorrow Dimension."

His gaze swept over the figures standing like fixed sculptures in the shadows of the gray buildings, or silently patrolling predetermined routes.

They were humanoid.

Or rather, they had once been humanoid.

Leather or canvas straitjackets bound their bodies tightly, outlining physiques that ranged from muscular to withered. Their faces were covered by rivet-studded leather masks, or replaced by crudely stitched scars.

They carried all manner of tools that gleamed coldly: hooked chains, chisels, saw blades, and long barbed needles.

There was no conversation, no roaring, only the occasional cold scrape of metal against stone and the maddeningly regular clatter of chains dragging across the ground.

Cenobites.

The only "residents" of this territory. They were both embodiments of this order of pain and the tools that maintained it.

"That's Pinhead's presence." Blade Head walked slightly ahead of Li Dan and to one side. Across his head, composed entirely of countless tiny, razor-sharp blades, metal pieces scraped and trembled almost imperceptibly, combining into a voice weighted with gravity.

"This is the central branch of the Sorrow Dimension, the Pain Realm under his control. Here, pain has been elevated to a fundamental law. Torture is the only ritual and the only order."

"Any trespasser, powerful or not, will slowly be broken down and assimilated by this realm, until they finally... become another component in this vast instrument of torture, or a new tool in a Cenobite's hands."

Beside them was Angelique, the "princess" whose ties to this hell ran deep, yet who seemed utterly out of place here.

Her face betrayed little emotion, but a barely perceptible flicker of disgust passed through the depths of her eyes.

She continued, her voice calm but carrying a
