Crystal Lake: A Real Nightmare

The school bus drove onto the highway.

A group of students chatted and laughed excitedly about how to spend summer camp, what games to play, and whether to throw a party.

Li Dan sat in the back, looking out at the scenery. Jennifer sat beside him, while Heather had gone to sit with Maria.

Da Zhuang sat with Little Fatty. Those two were relatively familiar with Li Dan.

There were plenty of little cliques in a class.

For instance, the yellow-haired guy in the front row who loved making weird noises was named Mike. He had not stopped since getting on the bus.

His girlfriend was Whitney Miller. No one knew how she had fallen for a noisemaker like Mike.

Noisemaker was the nickname some of the students had given Mike.

Clay and Trent were also part of Mike's clique. They were the adventurous type.

The fact that this group had made it through their last trip without incident could only be called lucky.

"Darling, I brought yogurt. Want some?"

Jennifer pulled out some yogurt from her bag, along with quite a few snacks to satisfy cravings.

Li Dan shook his head. "It's still early. Rest for a while first."

It was a trip of several hours, and they had only just set off.

One advantage of having a girlfriend was that Li Dan could lie on Jennifer's lap whenever he wanted to sleep or rest. Sleeping while sitting was generally uncomfortable.
