Destruction's Downfall

Before Mu En and Xuan Zi could step forward to inspect it, vast, pure Sea God's Light suddenly erupted, sweeping away all the Rakshasa God Power around the perimeter in an instant.

Yet a dark crimson patch remained on the Golden Ancient Tree, like a chronic ailment, still clinging tightly to it.

Sensing this, the Sea God's Light bloomed even more brilliantly and surged toward the Rakshasa God Power, washing over it.

Tang Hao and Ah Yin, hiding within the Golden Ancient Tree, had no idea why Rakshasa God Power had suddenly appeared.

But they knew very well that if the Rakshasa God Power erupted, it would inevitably draw the God Realm's attention.

It would likely deal no small blow to Xiao San's ten-thousand-year plan.

After sensing the Rakshasa God Power and weighing the pros and cons, they were finally willing to act and clear it away.

Fortunately, the Rakshasa God Power was like water without a source. After only a few washes, most of it had been cleansed away.

But when they had completely cleared the Rakshasa God Power, they sensed an unusual force at the very last moment.

With a slight probe, both their expressions changed drastically. This familiar aura was unmistakably a trace of the Destruction God King's divine power, mixed with an immense amount of Destruction faith.

Before they could report this to Tang San, Destruction's aura rapidly condensed and, through the divine statue, descended directly before the Golden Ancient Tree.

Purple lightning coiled around him. Clad in a black cloak and holding a scepter, he was none other than the God Realm's God King, the God of Destruction.

Tang Hao and Ah Yin turned deathly pale. Meanwhile, Mu En and Xuan Zi, who had temporarily stopped moving due to the eruption of Sea God's Light, suddenly saw the God of Destruction appear.

Mu En was better off. With his cautious nature, coupled with the faint divine might he could sense, he was rooted to the spot in shock.

But Xuan Zi did not care about such things. His level of strength was insufficient, so he could not sense the divine might radiating from the God of Destruction at all.

Seeing that someone else actually dared to invade Sea God Pavilion, and seemingly intended to make a move against the Golden Ancient Tree,

and seeing that Mu En beside him had issued no warning, he immediately pointed at the Destruction God King and began cursing.

By the time Mu En came to his senses and tried to stop him, Xuan Zi had already cursed aloud.

"Where did this little thief come from, daring to run wild in my Shrek Academy?"

Destruction had originally been busy in the God Realm when he suddenly sensed the divine power of the Rakshasa God.

Before he could figure out how the Rakshasa God position, which had already been destroyed, had appeared once more, another familiar wave of Sea God Divine Power entered his perception.

Thinking the Sea God was interfering with the lower realm, he directly locked onto the location of his divine statue and descended, intending to stop the Sea God.

But he had never expected to witness Sea God Tang San's scheme.

With just one glance, Destruction understood.

The Sea God had actually used his own parents in an attempt to seize Douluo Star's planar authority.

The sight nearly made him laugh in fury.

The dignified God Realm Law Enforcement God Asura God had openly ignored the God Realm's prohibitions.

Interfering with the lower realm was one thing, but he even wanted to lay hands on Douluo Star's planar authority.

There was only one possibility for him to do this without Destruction sensing it: Sea God Tang San had used the power of the God Realm Central Hub.

That was yet another grave crime—using power for personal gain.

Just as fury surged within the Destruction God King, Xuan Zi actually dared to keep chattering at his side.

Destruction merely glanced at him, and Xuan Zi instantly coughed up blood as his aura plummeted.

In just a few breaths, he fell from a rank ninety-eight Super Douluo to a rank eighty-nine Soul Douluo.

The enormous disparity, combined with his internal injuries, made his eyes roll back as he fainted to the ground.

The God of Destruction paid Xuan Zi no mind. With a light raise of his hand, he directly pulled Ah Yin and Tang Hao out of the Golden Ancient Tree.

Destruction Lightning wound around them, sealing them within.

Then he pointed again, and the Sea God power that had bound and suppressed the world's will instantly exploded.

"Douluo Star Will, I am the God Realm's God of Destruction. On behalf of the God Realm, I offer you an apology. Are you willing to come with me to the God Realm and accuse Tang San?"

Though the Douluo Star Will was somewhat naive, she knew that if she did not seize this chance to bring down the Sea God, there would likely be no one able to help her next time.

An ethereal voice rang out within the God of Destruction's consciousness. "I am willing to go."

"Good. Split off a strand of your will. Leave the rest behind on Douluo Star and take control of Douluo Star as quickly as possible."

A streak of green light shot out of the Golden Ancient Tree like lightning and merged into Destruction's scepter.

Having done all this, Destruction was just about to depart for the God Realm.

The clouds in the sky suddenly parted, and golden radiance shone across the heavens in extravagant splendor.

Amid the sound of rolling waves, a figure with waist-length blue hair, holding the Golden Triden and dressed in the Sea God's attire, slowly emerged.

Seeing this, Destruction sneered. "Tang San, you still dare to descend to the lower realm without permission. It seems you've truly mastered how to use the God Realm Central Hub."

Tang San's face darkened as he thought, Was I still one step too late?

Then he saw his parents in Destruction's hand, and panic immediately rose within him. Once Destruction brought them to the God Realm, everything would be over.

Endless killing intent rose in his heart.

He could not defeat Destruction's true body, but could he not defeat Destruction's consciousness?

As long as he killed the Destruction Avatar here, then used the God Realm Central Hub to cover everything up,

his parents would, at most, be guilty of descending to the lower realm without permission. With him there to mediate, their punishment would surely be severe in name but light in reality.

That way, this crisis could be resolved in one stroke.

With that thought, he slowly raised the trident in his hand.

Sensing this, the Destruction Consciousness curled his lips into an amused smile.

Just as Tang San was puzzled, a figure wreathed in Destruction Lightning charged into the God Realm Central Hub alongside a woman brimming with the aura of life.

After easily suppressing the gods of Tang San's faction within the God Realm Central Hub, they directly seized control of it.

They then handed it to the Life God King. That way, if Tang San dared to resist later,

Destruction would fight at his full strength.

The Life God King was also somewhat enraged. She had never expected Tang San to be such a sanctimonious hypocrite.

When Destruction first told her, she had found it difficult to believe. By the time she arrived at the God Realm Central Hub, she already believed eighty percent of it.

After inspecting the traces of the God Realm Central Hub's use, she completely understood that everything Tang San had shown in the past had been an act meant to deceive others.

All those times she had stood by Tang San's side to keep Destruction from oppressing him too much had been entirely wasted.

Looking at it now, she had truly been blind.

If someone had not needed to control the God Realm Central Hub, she too would have liked to let Tang San find out whether the Life God King could beat people.

Just as Tang San on Douluo Star was about to make his move, a majestic voice rang out from the heavens.

"Sea God Tang San, return to the God Realm at once. Delay, and you will be executed."

Upon hearing this, Tang San was initially stunned. Then he realized his lair had been taken.

His eyes nearly split with rage as he roared, "Destruction!"

Unable to spare another thought for confronting the Destruction Split Soul, he returned to the God Realm at top speed.
