Background / History

Wu Qing is Wu Ming’s elder sister and the central support of the Wu Family during his early life. Her achievements at the Daoist Academy elevated the family from a small landlord household into a tax-exempt local power with extensive attached lands 32. Though normally cold and severe toward outsiders, she is fiercely protective of Wu Ming; after his collapse, she sought Daoist Master Shou Xuan to examine his body and soul, then openly wept with relief when he was declared safe 12 13.

At the Daoist Academy, Wu Qing rapidly became a True Dao Seed. Her cultivation breakthrough to Pháp Sư allowed her to defeat Daoist Ji Yun and the Academy’s Martial Uncle of Law Enforcement, after which the Academy Head promoted her to High Official and assigned her to lead disciples at the Dragon Gate Gathering 41.

She entered the Dragon Gate Gathering while under pressure from Wang Yu and the Wang Family, who sought to exploit her Phoenix Physique and Fortune through marriage. Rather than accept becoming Wang Yu’s cultivation cauldron, she refused him and remained hostile toward his schemes 73 80. Wu Qing later became aware that Wu Zhi’s fate was entangled with her own.
