Transforming into a Great Ape and Beating Up the Natives

Rhode woke from his unconsciousness with a soft groan. Before his eyes lay a desolate night sky and an unreal-looking full moon hanging overhead.

"How long was I unconscious?!"

Rhode's memories stopped at the moment he had been sent flying by those green-skinned, white-haired Lainar, crashing through several mountains. He remembered nothing after that.

"Urgh!"

A sudden headache struck him, making him feel as if his head were about to explode. Then, a flood of memories surged forth one after another. His expression shifted from confusion to shock before finally settling into calm.

"I never expected my memories to awaken only after seven years of reincarnation in the Dragon Ball World. If they'd awakened any later, I might not have had the chance at all!"

After fully receiving the memories of his reincarnated life, especially the information that Bardock had already set out to conquer Planet Kanasa, Rhode could not help feeling a lingering sense of fear. If his memories had awakened another year or two later, he would probably have been reduced to nothing.

Before Rhode could think further, earthshaking explosions rang out beside his ears.

Hearing the explosions and thinking of his four expendable teammates, Rhode's heart stirred. He immediately realized that his current situation was dire.

The planet beneath his feet was called Planet Rhyner, a high-class planet whose natives were extremely powerful.

Its strongest warrior was about equal to the captain of Rhode's squad, with a Power Level of around 5,000. More importantly, the planet possessed advanced technology and communications, and its people knew the Saiyans very well.

Those green-skinned, white-haired natives had started by blowing themselves up. Rhode's captain, whose Power Level exceeded 5,000, had died instantly. The remaining teammates were immediately besieged, and then Rhode had been blasted away and knocked unconscious.

After flying closer and seeing that Rhode had made no movements throughout the process, the lead Lainar's pupils shrank sharply. His expression changed drastically as he hurriedly shouted to his people.

As he spoke, the lead Lainar repeatedly signaled to the others with his eyes, intending to Follow the same procedure they had used against the earlier Great Ape. As long as they could sever the ape's tail, they would be halfway to winning this war!

The moment his words fell, the Lainar attacked, not giving Rhode any chance to communicate. Energy Blasts flew toward his enormous body one after another.

Energy Blasts exploded before his eyes one after another. After that, no more Lainar emerged from the blast zone. When the explosions finally ceased, Rhode casually waved his hand to disperse the smoke and dust, revealing the shattered ground and the bodies scattered across it.
