High above a deserted wasteland, Vegeta gathered countless Ki Blasts in the span of a breath and fired them at the exposed section of Babidi's spaceship below.
The Ki Blasts struck one after another, setting off a chain of explosions. Deafening blasts rang across the empty land.
Yet despite the noise, everyone could see that the damage fell far short of what Vegeta's attacks should have caused. It was as though something hidden had absorbed the force of the Ki Blasts.
Noticing this, the others followed Vegeta's lead. They gathered Ki Blasts of their own and bombarded the spaceship below.

The badly wounded King of the Demon Realm, Dabura, lay on the ground and watched it happen. A strange feeling filled him.
Lord Babidi's goal appeared to have been achieved, but this was nothing like the scene Dabura had imagined.
More importantly, these people were absurdly strong. Even if the legendary Majin Buu emerged, he might not be able to handle them.
