"Let's go. We're heading out!"
Hearing Dr. Brief's voice, Rhode immediately waved to Little Bulma and headed outside.
Little Bulma, who trailed behind, looked around at the buildings and space inside the Time Chamber. Her large eyes flickered, though no one knew what she was thinking, before she ran out after him.
Before Rhode had even stepped through the Space Gate, he saw Dr. Brief peering inside from the entrance.
And besides Dr. Brief, there was also his ever-present pet—a Little Black Cat.
This Little Black Cat was a remarkable creature as well. It looked entirely ordinary, just a normal cat, yet it had lived for many years and was still alive and well during Black Goku's era.
"Who are you?"
Confusion flashed through Dr. Brief's eyes when he saw the young man emerge from the Space Gate.
However, after noticing the familiar traces in Rhode's features, he thought for a moment and recognized him. "You're Rhode? It's only been a little over a year, but you've changed so much!"
"It's me, Doctor. Long time no see!"
Rhode was not surprised that Dr. Brief had recognized him.
Even though he had grown up, his facial features still resembled how he had looked before. Besides, with Bulma's intelligence, the fact that she had followed him into the Time Chamber was enough to tell Dr. Brief that he was someone familiar.
Under those circumstances, it was only natural that Dr. Brief recognized him.
As he examined Rhode's upright figure, his spiked black hair, and the gentleness tempered with sharpness in his brows, Dr. Brief was truly astonished.
"Oh, yes, long time no see, Rhode!"
With a sigh in his heart, Dr. Brief returned Rhode's greeting.
Seeing Rhode again, Dr. Brief immediately brought up the question that had been weighing on his mind.
