Rhode returned to Aila, helped her reach Super Saiyan, and trained with her while building a new circle of students around Kid Goku and Bulma. As the children prepared for a Dragon Ball trip, Rhode and Aila decided to enter the World Martial Arts Tournament in disguise.

• Aila fought Saganbo and King Cold on a desolate planet until Rhode returned, exposed himself, and helped her transform into a Super Saiyan.
• Rhode and Aila restored Metamoran, learned and exchanged techniques, and trained together until Aila reached Super Saiyan 2 and Rhode perfected his control of the form.
• Rhode met Lapis and Lazuli, took them as disciples, and trained with Aila while improving his recovery and extending his lifespan.
• Rhode met Grandpa Gohan and agreed to train Kid Goku, then brought Goku to the Martial Arts Hall, where Bulma challenged him after eating a Sacred Tree Fruit.
• Rhode arranged training for Goku, Chi-Chi, Lapis, and Lazuli, while Dr. Gero shared research on the imitation Sacred Tree Fruit and Cell Modification Technology.
• Rhode broke through to Super Saiyan 3 as Bulma planned a Dragon Ball trip with Chi-Chi, Lazuli, and Kakarot.

Rhode disguised himself as Saitama for the World Martial Arts Tournament, where Goku reunited with Bardock, Gine, and Raditz and Rhode defeated Goku in the final. Afterward, Rhode and Aila trained together, reached new Saiyan forms, and agreed to marry before Rhode showed Kid Goku his power.

• Rhode and Aila disguised themselves as Saitama and Feng Baobao and entered the World Martial Arts Tournament, where Rhode’s clone later brought Bardock, Gine, and Raditz to Earth.
• Bardock and Gine reunited with Goku, and the Saiyan family joined the tournament as Rhode warned them not to underestimate Earth’s fighters.
• Rhode and Aila fought in the semifinals, with Rhode winning after their new techniques clashed, while Bardock forfeited his match against Goku by jumping out of the arena.
• Saitama defeated Goku in the final and won the tournament, after which Rhode restored Goku and revealed the strength he had concealed.
• Rhode trained to master Super Saiyan 4, recognized his bonds with Aila and the others, and finally broke through after Aila comforted him and they fought together.
• Aila mastered Super Saiyan 3 while training with Rhode, who raised his Normal State Power beyond one trillion, and she agreed to marry him after he proposed.
• Rhode and Aila left the Time Chamber and found that a week had passed, then Rhode showed Kid Goku his Great Ape Power and Super Saiyan forms.

Rhode and Aila entered a parallel world during the Majin Buu crisis, where Rhode intervened in the battles and helped the fighters grow stronger. After Vegito freed Buu’s absorbees, Aila destroyed Kid Buu, and she challenged Goku and Vegeta to a fusion fight.

• Rhode and Aila entered a later-era Parallel World, where Vegeta was about to sacrifice himself against Majin Buu, and Rhode used Time Reversal to restore him before attacking Buu and collecting his cells.
• Rhode killed Babidi, read Majin Buu’s memories, and introduced himself and Aila to Goku and Vegeta as visitors from another world.
• Rhode separated Good Buu from Evil Slim Buu, then brought the stronger Super Buu to the Kaioshin Realm so Goku could fight him while Old Supreme Kai unlocked the fighters’ potential.
• Goten and Trunks arrived, fused into Gotenks, and fought Buu while Rhode used a Time Chamber to give the group time for Old Supreme Kai’s ritual.
• After their potential was unlocked, Goku and Vegeta fused into Vegito, who reached Tier Five and deliberately let Super Buu absorb him to rescue the people inside.
• Rhode removed Good Buu from Earth’s battle, and Aila destroyed the regenerated Kid Buu with one energy blast.
• Aila challenged Goku and Vegeta to fuse and fight her, and Vegeta accepted while Goku eagerly agreed.

Rhode trained with Goku, Vegeta, and Aila through Super Saiyan God rituals and years of battles, then mastered Simplified Ultra Instinct. After returning to Earth, he reunited with the fighters and set them searching for King Piccolo.

• Goku and Vegeta fused into Vegito, who defeated Aila before Rhode challenged him and demonstrated the danger of Vegito’s techniques.
• Rhode trained against Vegito to develop the Freedom Technique, then taught the Saiyans the ritual for becoming Super Saiyan Gods.
• Rhode, Goku, Vegeta, Aila, Gohan, Trunks, and Goten each underwent the ritual and trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
• Rhode and Aila spent decades training in the Time Chamber, mastering advanced forms and modifying their bodies before returning to meet Goku and Vegeta.
• Rhode fought Aila, Goku, and Vegeta to develop Simplified Ultra Instinct, then explained Super Saiyan Blue to Goku and Vegeta before leaving Earth with Aila.
