Background

Qin Jun was born the son of the Peerless City Lord with the innate Burial Blade Pupils. The Blade Tomb within his eyes contains buried weapons and produces a corresponding cultivation technique whenever he advances. He concealed this inheritance and his strength until the Peerless City Grand Competition, where his talent became public knowledge. 249

His father urged him to gain renown through the Blade Domain competition, treating it as the decisive turning point of Qin Jun's life. Shortly after Qin Jun drew Chen Lin's attention and survived Li Kuangtu's attempt to seize his pupils, his father died suddenly and was cremated according to his final wish. 251 252 258

Qin Jun initially knew only that he had undergone ninety-nine reincarnations. Later revelations identified him as the reincarnation of Jade Pure Immortal and Heaven's End Demon Venerable. Ghost Emperor Tianluo ultimately disclosed that Qin Jun's first existence was the artifact spirit of the Reincarnation Creation Disk, a Chaos Supreme Treasure and contingency left behind by Lord Fengdu. 435 460 625

Appearance

Qin Jun is a tall, straight-backed young man whose calm bearing remains intact even in hostile courts and battles. His most striking feature is his golden pupils, which later manifest blood-red patterns when the Burial Immortal Pupils are opened. 250 298 481

  • Golden eyes containing the phantom of a Blade Tomb and buried weapons. 249 251
  • A sharp, ancient, deathly Blade Intent that can emerge from his pupils. 250
  • Often wears azure robes in his later appearances. 489
  • His pupils manifest nine revolving blood-red patterns when exerting the Burial Immortal Pupils at greater power. 481

Personality

Qin Jun is ambitious, bold, and calculating. When Li Kuangtu sought his Burial Blade Pupils, Qin Jun deliberately provoked the sect master to force Chen Lin—whom he believed could affect the Emperor Artifact in his eyes—to intervene. Chen Lin specifically recognizes his willingness to leverage power and take calculated risks. 250 251 252

He is also composed under sudden favor and pressure. During his journey to the Imperial Capital, he aided people in distress, mediated disputes, and guided blade cultivators; at court, he advocated practical policies based on tangible benefit and earned trust rather than empty rhetoric. 297 298 300

His later conduct becomes markedly colder. After gaining access to immense borrowed power, he treats surrendering enemies without mercy, pursues resources and inheritances decisively, and regards devouring power as necessary for his cultivation. 438 482 500

Abilities & Skills

Burial Blade Pupils / Burial Immortal Pupils

Qin Jun's innate pupils contain a Blade Tomb holding weapons, remnant souls, and the legacies of their original owners. The inheritance initially manifests as Burial Blade Pupils, while its later form is called the Burial Immortal Pupils. 249 258 436

  • Produces cultivation techniques from the Blade Tomb as Qin Jun advances. 249
  • Houses broken weapons, King Artifacts, Emperor Artifacts, and remnant souls; Chen Lin identifies remnant souls from Cave Reality, Nirvana, and Heaven and Earth Great Venerable cultivators. 251 258
  • Creates an illusory Heavenly Artifact saber and releases ancient, deathly Blade Intent. 250
  • Can use Soul Burial to erode an opponent's meridians, True Essence, and Divine Soul. 250
  • Temporarily channels Nirvana-level soul power, but severely drains Qin Jun's essence, energy, and spirit. 251
  • Absorbs an enemy's cultivation, laws, and memories, as demonstrated against Void Master and Dao Sage. 436 500
  • Deploys Karmic Fire and manifests a blood-red sword phantom when fully opened. 478 481

Defy

Defy is Qin Jun's innate supernatural power. It reverses the laws of the realm and allowed him to counter Void Master's devouring shadow directly. 435

  • Reverses hostile law-based effects rather than merely resisting them. 435
  • Its use exposed Qin Jun's identity as Jade Pure Immortal to Black Fiend Heavenly Venerate. 435 436

Remnant Soul Power

The souls buried in Qin Jun's pupils preserve fragments of their prior cultivation, techniques, and inheritances. By drawing on them, he can wield power far beyond his own realm. 434 502

  • Three principal remnant souls remained by the time Qin Jun confronted Void Master. 434
  • Their strength temporarily raised him to Peak Heaven and Earth Great Venerable level. 478 489
  • The borrowed strength must be returned; afterward, Qin Jun's cultivation falls back to Nirvana Realm. 502
  • Qin Jun promised the remaining souls freedom in exchange for their residual strength. 434

Nine Revolutions Become Immortal

A one-time rebirth cultivation method that requires its user to abandon all previous cultivation and begin anew as a mortal. 442

  • Qin Jun shattered eighteen Great-Perfection Cave Heavens to activate it. 442
  • The technique cannot be cultivated more than once in a lifetime. 442
  • Qin Jun accepted the risk because he had waited through ninety-nine lifetimes for this opportunity. 442

Reincarnation Cultivation

Qin Jun's natal Supreme Reincarnation Scripture emits an exceptionally pure reincarnation aura that underworld cultivators perceive as reincarnation itself. 559

  • His aura helped Hei Li and Hei Ye advance toward the Unfettered Realm. 559
  • He absorbs pure yin baleful energy in the Nine Netherworld, where it naturally converges upon him. 625
  • His connection to reincarnation originates from the Reincarnation Creation Disk. 625
