Background and History
Great Cataclysm and abandonment of Blue Star
Two centuries before the story, Blue Star underwent a biological Great Cataclysm caused by a cosmic-material mutation. Biology, technology, and humanity evolved, while contact with alien civilizations ushered in the Interstellar Great Navigation era. Much of Blue Star's population later dispersed across the Milky Way. 1
Blue Star subsequently became a semi-abandoned “Abandoned Land.” Resource depletion, severe environmental damage, and an ozone-layer breach exposed its surface population to cosmic radiation and shortened some natives' lifespans. Its ownerless status meant no planetary lord was willing to fund ecological restoration. 1 76
Galaxy Empire affiliation
The Solar System is a remote human star system within the Galaxy Empire. Solar System humans are protected by Imperial law while retaining authority over internal matters; the Empire chiefly handles communication and provides aid when requested. 171
The Galaxy Empire maintains a Solar System Office in Moonlight City on the Moon. The nearest known life-bearing world is North Bird Star. 171
A 500-year civilization-development protection period restricts Imperial forces and personnel from entering the Solar System, preserving the autonomy of its developing civilization. 182
Worlds and Population
| World / Area | Documented significance |
|---|---|
| Blue Star | Humanity's original homeworld; it initially retained more than three billion permanent residents across nine zones despite environmental damage and radiation exposure. 1 |
| Moon | Political and economic center of the Solar System; Moonlight City hosts the Galaxy Empire's Solar System Office. 166 171 |
| Mars | One of the three principal inhabited worlds and a major theater during the Blue Alliance's liberation movement. 237 380 |
| Pluto | Identified as the outermost planet crossed by a Demon Wolf Race vessel entering the system. 365 |
During the Demon Wolf Race incursion, an external scan estimated approximately 12.3 billion life forms in the Solar System, including 323 individuals at Radiant Rank or above. 365
Cultivation System
The Solar System uses local terminology alongside the universal cultivation hierarchy. Its traditional Gene Martial Artist system was considered incomplete because it emphasized power Amplitude while neglecting speed and defense Amplitude. 169 170
| Solar System terminology | Universal terminology | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ninth Order Martial Artist | Pre-Star Rank | Breaking through requires physical, spiritual, and willpower limits to be surpassed. 169 |
| Councilor Rank | Star Rank | A Star Rank breakthrough forms a golden, planet-like core in the Dantian and grants the ability to fly. 116 169 |
| — | Radiant, Cosmic, Domain, Realm, Eternal Life | Each rank before Eternal Life is divided into nine orders. 171 |
Both traditional Martial Artists, who cultivate Gene Origin Energy, and Mental Power Masters exist among Solar System humans. 169
Development and Reforms
| Period | Development |
|---|---|
| Xu Qing's Fourth Vice Chairmanship | Xu Qing prohibited the enslavement of humans within the Solar System, pushed environmental restoration on Blue Star, targeted gangs, founded the Extreme Dao Martial Hall, and distributed diluted bloodline-enhancing medicine to young people throughout the system. 238 |
| Blue Star transformation | An advanced planetary transformation system was purchased for Blue Star; the Extreme Dao Martial Hall lowered its entry age to ten, while migrants were resettled on controlled life planets with safe cities and trade links. 263 |
| Solar System Calendar 2512 | Xu Feng's Rebel Army reappeared on Blue Star, declaring its objective to overthrow the Solar System Alliance and reshape Solar System civilization. 379 |
| Solar System Calendar 2522 onward | Blue Star was liberated, followed by Mars and the Moon. The Sun Palace ultimately submitted to the newly established Blue Alliance. 380 |
| Later era | The Solar System gained independent authority within the Galaxy Empire and established the Solar System Empire Alliance as a private territory. 380 |
Blue Alliance reforms
- Slavery and dark cosmic businesses were abolished, while major Martial Artist families and resource monopolies were dismantled. 380
- The former Base City structure was replaced by provinces, cities, counties, and districts without national divisions among Blue Star, the Moon, and Mars. 380
- Quasi Martial Artist education and Martial Arts Hall instruction became free; residents under twenty-five could receive government Gene Potions until reaching Third Rank. 380
- The Martial Artist Security Bureau was re-established to regulate Martial Artists and reduce the divide between Martial Artists and ordinary people. 380
- Within three years of the Blue Alliance's establishment, poverty was stated to have been eliminated across the Solar System. 380
- Solar System humanity founded outposts on eighteen exoplanets, built off-world cities, relocated population, and expanded commerce across the Galaxy Empire. 380
- By the formation of the Solar System Empire Alliance, the number of Solar System Star Rank Martial Artists had reached 238,900. 380
Defense
The Martial God Hall completed a systemwide defense upgrade in ten days amid rising Demon Race threats. 360
When a Demon Wolf Race assassination squad entered the system, the upgraded network detected it near Pluto and responded with Planet Destroyer Cannon fire, orbital-cannon coverage, and spatial interference that prevented an immediate jump away. The attackers were forced to retreat. 365
In a later period, a Crape Myrtle Empire Saint King team maintained a permanent presence at Neptune Base on the edge of the Solar System. 682
Later Status
Fifty years later, Blue Star is described as a special planet within the Crape Myrtle Empire and the private territory of the Mystic Phantom Lord. Major powers—including the Ten Stars Secret Sect, Martial God Hall, Galaxy Network Company, and Universal Empire Bank—have established branches and teleportation points there. 682
Solar System citizenship has become highly prestigious: outsiders must pass extensive examinations and make contributions to the Solar System to obtain it. 682
