Overview

The Demon Race is a major multi-bloodline race that repeatedly wages war against the Human Race across starry-sky battlefields, the Crape Myrtle Empire, and later the Four Alliances. Its members are naturally physically strong, long-lived, talented, and capable of reproducing at rates comparable to the Human Race; these traits support its status as one of the universe's peak races. Its technological development is comparatively weak, as the race prioritizes practical utility over advanced technology. 401

Society and Bloodlines

The Demon Race is organized by bloodline status. Imperial Races hold the highest standing, followed by King Races. Bloodlines considered poor are treated as inferior; marginalized Wolf Race members such as Ka He may be exiled into the hazardous Slayer caste and used as border guards or expendable pawns. 392 443

Ferocious Races

Outside the Imperial and King Races are the mysterious Ferocious Races, ancient bloodlines said to have once dominated the world. They are extremely rare, but each appearance is regarded as a potential catastrophe. 443

• Zheng Race — One of the Five Great Ferocious Races. Zheng members employ devastating sound-wave attacks known to the Human Race as Demonic Sound, can divide themselves into countless clones, and can survive so long as even one clone remains. They are vulnerable to thunder. 443
• Four Great Ancient Ferocious Races — Four such races later join six imperial families and a thirty-million-strong Demon Race army in an attempted last stand against the Human Race. 696

History

War against the Human Race

The Demon Wolf Race begins attacking Human Race territory near the Galaxy Empire, raising fears for the Solar System. 359 Captain Xun Yue subsequently leads an assassination squad into the Solar System, intending to kill its strongest defenders, devour its population to restore vitality, and enslave survivors for energy mining. The squad retreats after encountering the Solar System’s advanced defensive weapons. 365

Xun Yue's group later uses a D-class Mechanical Race spaceship to infiltrate Yellow Stone Star and attack Xu Qing during the Harvest Festival. Xun Yue detonates a Crimson God Stone, destroying the plaza and killing Xu Qing’s clone. 367

On Bright Moon Star, Ka He leads a Demon Race squad that overwhelms Human Race Army Exploration Team 0957 before Xu Qing intervenes. Xu Qing defeats Ka He and imposes a soul restriction, turning the Silver Moon Wolf into his servant. 385 386

Pursuit Order and Starry-Sky Campaign

Following the death of Red Scale, Hui Tian Saint King issues a battlefield-wide pursuit order for Xu Qing, promising valuable Flood Dragon Race treasures for Human Race Grandmaster Realm Rank or stronger targets and an even greater reward for Red Scale’s killer. 393

The order draws scattered Demon Race forces toward Xu Qing. Rather than hide, Xu Qing disables his spaceship’s stealth and signal shielding to expose his position, gathers Human Race survivors around himself, and repeatedly engages Demon Race squads. His force grows to more than 300 members, including 14 Grandmaster Realm Ranks and over 80 Diamond Realm Ranks. 394

Six Eternal Life Demon Race cultivators from the Black-striped Tiger, Falcon, and Undying Insect bloodlines later ambush Xu Qing with a coordinated self-detonation attack. Xu Qing escapes through the void, traps them in a formation, and defeats them; the surviving Demon Race Eternals flee after their losses. 404 405 406

Conflict in the Crape Myrtle Empire

The Demon Race infiltrates the Crape Myrtle Empire through spies and collaborators while targeting advanced Human Race equipment and political instability. A Demon Monarch, four high-level Eternal Life experts, and five Realm Rank experts gather to seize the Interstellar Individual Warp Suit, but their operation fails. 500 502

Golden Wing King later leads a Demon Race Saint King team in an ambush against Xu Qing, September King, and Sun Chasing King. Xu Qing draws the pursuers away so his allies can escape, then evades the encirclement through speed, thunder techniques, and Immortal Spirit Space. 511

Demon Race geniuses subsequently infiltrate Human Race territory to assassinate the Crape Myrtle Empire’s princes and provoke the Ziwei Country Ruler into war. Xu Qing counters the plan by replacing the princes with clones and preparing an ambush. 535 536

Major Offensive

Led by the Phoenix Race, the Demon Race launches a vast offensive against the Crape Myrtle Empire. Within three years, the invasion occupies more than half of the empire’s territory and causes massive casualties among Eternal Life, Saint Ruler, and Saint King combatants. 589

During this conflict, Phoenix Race forces repeatedly search for the Mystic Phantom King, apparently motivated by a blood feud. 589 Phoenix Heaven later recognizes Mystic Phantom as the Human Race combatant responsible for killing Phoenix Race talents, its Saint Child, and its Saintess. 650

Annihilation Campaign

After reaching Emperor Rank, Xu Qing directs Martial God City to begin a campaign against the Demon Race, selecting the Man-Bull Race as its first target. The Human Race destroys 23 Royal Clan Sacred Grounds within three days. 695

The Man-Bull Saint Star is destroyed, and the Man-Bull Race is annihilated after an hour-long battle despite repeated counterattacks. 695 The campaign expands across Demon Race territory: seventy-two royal families are wiped out in three days, while Demon Race members above Realm Rank are killed. 696

The remaining high-ranking Demon Race gathers six imperial families, the Four Great Ancient Ferocious Races, and thirty million soldiers to resist. Five Human Race Quasi-Emperors led by Xu Qing break this force, while Demon Race Quasi-Emperors cannot withstand Xu Qing’s attacks. 696
