Mu En and Long Xiaoyao confronted Kong Deming to negotiate their release, while Chen Ming claimed a dangerous Golden Dragon crystal from the Imperial Treasury.

• Chen Ming faced Canghui Academy alone and defeated its two opening Soul Ancestors, then watched the Sun Moon team advance through the tournament as attacks and abductions spread across Spirit Fighting City.
• Chen Ming bought five Mysterious Turtle Divine Pills, reached rank thirty-five after refining their power, and learned more about Zhang Lexuan’s unexplained survival and Shrek’s secrets.
• The Sun Moon team defeated Shrek in the final through coordinated Soul Tool tactics, and Chen Ming beat Ma Xiaotao in the one-on-one match before Yan Shaozhe attacked him and powerful figures intervened.

Chen Ming gained powerful new abilities and reached Rank 49, but the Spirit Devouring Carving Knife began draining him as the Angel God's Chestplate Fragment fed on it.

• Kong Deming released Ma Xiaotao after Long Xiaoyao gave him a Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bone, then began seeking a way to overcome the imbalance between his Twin Martial Souls.
• Chen Ming proposed searching Sunset Forest for the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where Kong Deming reached Level 98 and gained the Star Luo Spirit Pearl’s Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring.
• At the well, Chen Ming used the Ten Thousand Beast Evergreen flower to reconcile his Dragon and Behemoth bloodlines, transforming his Martial Soul into an independent Exotic Species.

The Soul-Hunting Operation produced a Soul Spirit and brought the group into a deadly clash between the Evil Eye Heavenly Wolf and Shrek’s students.

• Huo Yuhao left the White Tiger Duke’s Mansion, met Chen Ming in the Star Dou Great Forest, and accepted his offer to join the Sun Moon Empire Royal Soul Engineer Academy’s faction.
• Chen Ming helped the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm sacrifice himself to Huo Yuhao, then survived the Three-Eyed Golden Gaze’s ten-move challenge while Huo Yuhao was teleported away.
• Electrolux awakened inside Chen Ming, repaired his Sea of Consciousness, and became his master as Chen Ming underwent a painful awakening that gave him a complete Body Martial Soul.
• Huo Yuhao reached the Sun Moon Empire with Du Busi, reunited with Chen Ming, and began studying at the Royal Soul Engineer Academy while Wang Dong’er struggled with her inability to use Soul Tools.
• Electrolux proposed Inverse Soul Spirits, and Chen Ming and Kong Deming tested the method by combining Soul Rings and extracting Soul Beast souls into Soul Spirits.
