"I am Senso Dōjin, the Toad Spirit Sage of Mount Myōboku—better known as Jiraiya the Toad Sage, yours truly!" Jiraiya struck a pose. Seeing no reaction from the others, he jumped down from the toad, which vanished from the classroom in a puff of white smoke.
"My future subordinates, pleased to meet you!" Jiraiya showed no trace of embarrassment as he beamed at Minagawa Uchiha and the other two.
"The legendary Sannin, Jiraiya the Toad Sage? It's truly an honor to become one of your students!" Kabuto Yakushi was the first to speak, looking both surprised and honored.
At last, someone had responded—and with the look of a little fanboy, no less. The smile on Jiraiya's face grew even wider.
"Not at all, not at all, hahahaha!" He scratched the back of his head and laughed with his mouth wide open. Though clearly delighted, he waved his hand as if those were merely empty titles and he did not care in the slightest.
Tamaki Hyuga, however, paid no attention to his act of playing the esteemed master. Instead, her face was full of disgust.
After all, school books only briefly mentioned this Konoha Sannin. Most of their pages recorded the achievements of the Third Hokage, so Tamaki Hyuga naturally had no idea what the Konoha Sannin truly represented.

Upon hearing the Hyuga girl's words, Jiraiya instantly went from jubilant to dejected. He kept muttering those words used to describe him, looking utterly devastated.
He had originally expected this youthful girl to show an admiring
